What tarot layout would you recommend if using only major arcana? What spread would you advise in a reading using only major arcana and why?
How do I find my personal Major Arcana tarot cards? I'm interested in tarot cards and have started to learn about them. I read that everyone has two personal tarot cards? One reflects their outside personality, and the other reflects their true self. I'm horrible with numbers and the directions for finding your personal Major Arcana cards in the book are confusing me. Can someone tell me how to do it? Thanks.
Is it possible to do an accurate Tarot reading using only the Major Arcana of a deck? More of the intricacies of Tarot would be appreciated, but my main question is if one must use the whole deck to do a single reading or if just the Major Arcana is acceptable. And suggested spreads.

What are the 22 "trump" cards, or "major arcana" cards in a tarot deck? What are the 22 "trump" cards, or "major arcana" cards in a tarot deck? I know that nowadays people are starting to use all kinds of symbols to form their own tarot decks. I'm just curious, though, about what the 22 trump historically were.
The Zodiac signs and their major arcana? Can anyone tell me the major arcana of all twelve zodiac signs? List the zodiac sign and the arcana that corresponds with it.
What are the common archetypes for the 22 major arcana? I mean each card would represent a person on its own. For example, I've read that The Fool these days is sometimes personified as a "tabula rasa" dreamer who is highly impressionable and ready to take a leap of faith. I'm having trouble finding explanations for common archetypes of SINGLE cards. If someone has a short explanation of common archetypes with each arcanum or has a good source that provides such information, that would be extremely helpful.
Whats the difference between the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana? If you don't know tarot cards..... then you don't know the answer lol. For anyone who knows about Tarot magic, whats the difference between the two? Dont tell me ones more important than the other.
What's the difference between the major and minor arcana in this case? So, I was doing a reading for practicing and I got The Sun for person number 1's feelings and then I got Ten of cups for person number 2's feelings which made me confused because both mean that the person has got strong feelings for the partner. So, I did some research on the differences between the difference between major and minor arcana but it couldn't quite clarify my doubt. So, for someone who happens to know about this, What's the difference in the meanings in this case? does it mean that person number 1 loves more than he is loved?

Help me develop supernatural powers based on the Major Arcana for a story I'm making? I want it to have the opposites as complements, like Sun/Moon one. I plan to include some string-like (not adhesive like spider man) qualities for the Hanged Man Tarot, but I'm out of ideas for the rest.
What are some things like the Major Arcana(22), Zodiac(12), Deadly Sins/Heavenly Virtues(7) ? Is there a term for that type of 'astrology/paranormal' grouping? What else is like these things that are 5 or more for a theme for me to be used in an art concept?
Reading the major arcana tarot deck? I have been given a deck of tarot cards called the major arcana. I understand what each card represents now but i am unsure of how to read the cards for someone. Do i just lay them out, ask them to pick three cards and tell them what each reads or what? Any help will be great :P.
Can someone help me to interpret my tarot reading using only the major arcana? I asked the cards if the man I am interested in has thought /or would ever want to be with me in the future. Last time I heard he was taken but I'm not really sure which is why I'm asking in the future reference, as if he ever found himself single again would he want to be with me. What I got was the following... The Star The Tower The Magician The Hanged Man The Fool The Empress
Help me develop supernatural powers based on the Major Arcana? Preferably by the art of the card. I'd want the Sun/Moon to be complementary, and the Emperor/Empress, Pope/Priestess, etc. Ugh, I didn't put any further thought into this. I should have rephrased it as "Help me develop supernatural powers based on the Major Arcana for a story/comic?"

Abundance of Major Arcana in Tarot Reading- Need help interpreting.? I did a spread for my best friend who has recently begun dating someone that he seems to be crazy about...I am not fond of this person at all, and in fact, this has caused conflict in our relationship. I am new to the Tarot, so I am asking for some help with this...I pulled an amazing number of Major Arcana cards with this reading. 7 of the 10. I didn't have a real question in mind, just asked for insight into the relationship, if my negative feelings were unwarranted. Do you get the same negative interpretation from these cards that I do? I am afraid that my feelings for this person may be distorting my interpretation. I need some guidance with this. Cover-Hermit Crosses-Death Crowns-Magician (r) Below-K of C (r) Behind-2 of C (r) Before-Justice (r) 7th-The Tower 8th-The Star (r) 9th-Judgement (r) 10th-3 of S

Major Arcana in a reading...? I received a Tarot reading, celtic spread. Seven of my cards were Major Arcana cards. Is this significant? What does it mean?
Lack of major Arcana in Tarot readings? I just started doing Tarot and I noticed that there's a highly unlikely lack of major arcana cards in my readings. Of the 31 cards I've pulled, only three have been major arcana. The chance of pulling 3 or less major arcana cards out of 31 cards is about 1.1% When I did the math I was a bit baffled. The cards are definitely well sorted. I usually look at all of the positions before I shuffle to give the subconscious mind some clue as to where the cards are, and the major arcana are distributed evenly throughout the deck. Then I shuffle and that changes. The major arcana cards seem to like saving themselves for the "overall theme" and such positions. I was wondering if this is common and if it's generally considered to mean anything. My newbie interpretation is that the questions I'm asking are fairly material and not very grand in scope.
The Personalities of the Major Arcana? I was looking though my friends deck while checking out a RP based off the tarot cards. I want to make a character, but I'd like to know the personalities of the Major Arcana before doing so. So does anyone have the personalities for all 21 of the Major Arcana? Not just meanings in a reading, but actual personalities. You can be short and summarized, but please include your source so I can do some reading of my own from the original source. The Fool The Magician The High Priestess The Empress The Emperor The Hierophant The Lovers The Chariot Justice The Hermit Wheel of Fortune Strength / Fortitude The Hanged Man Death Temperance The Devil The Tower The Star The Moon The Sun Judgment The World
What does it mean when you get mostly Major Arcana in a Tarot reading? Every time I ask a question about my future the ensuing reading is rife with Major Arcana. In fact, it's mostly Major Arcana. From what I've read, that would mean that all I can really do about my future is go with the flow and I shouldn't try to resist anything because it could end badly. Could anyone tell me anything else? More specifically, I am asking if I should attach any special importance to a reading if it contains a large number of Major Arcana.

Major Arcana (The moon)? Now personally I have a very tricky time interpretating this card but I have come to the conclusion it basically means you’re "Under a spell" from someone you know your more emotional more receptive these are all the signs…………..What’s your interpretations of this card?
Major Arcana, The Fool and love? I just recently read my spread of the traditional celtic cross. I inquired about my recent breakup with my BF of 6 years. I've spoken to a couple of psychics that said that the breakup isn't perminent. But in my spread the Fool was my final outcome. What can you make of this meaning? I've read up on it and it merely suggests that I should be awaiting a new 'adventure'. Does this mean I'll be moving on? Does that mean a clean, fresh start with him? I really don't want this break up to become perminent. I trully love him.
How should I read these Tarot cards (Major Arcana)? I have been using Tarot for a while now but sometimes I'm not quite sure whether I read the cards correctly. Anyone familiar with it please share your thoughts. Two weeks ago I asked if an event I anticipated will happen by the end of this month. I drew only one card for this question. The first time an upside down THE MOON card showed up. And just last week, I did three further readings on different days and got THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE, THE WORLD and THE SUN all in upright position. It's interesting because I asked the same question and these cards seemed to all have positive meanings. Is it ok to ask the same question I wonder? And, did these cards mean that this particular event will eventually happened? I'm aware that Tarot cards can't exactly "predict the future", but still... I'm a bit intrigued by the cards that I got from the readings.
what do the major and minor arcana stand for? Where can I purchase these cards? they are cards from a tarot deck which is used to see a person's destiny/fate/future.
tarot cards and there minor arcana? I bought a 57 card deck by Robin Wood and I was wondering (me being a beginner) if it is totally necessary for me to have the major arcana at this time? I mean if I have the major arcana's as well does the readings become more serious or make a person need to be more alert?
What are the meanings of the Minor Arcana of Tarot? I have been studying Tarot for a while now, however, I can't seem to graps a solid meaning of the Minor Arcana in both Non-reversed or reversed state. I've looked at various resources, but they all seem to clash and negate each others meanings. I do know that the minor is not as powerful as the major, if I used the right word. But I would like to know all the meaning of the cards. Can anyone help me please :) Thank you for all the advice everyone! It always seems to unclear when I try to read a spread, it always gets foggy when the minors come. I may need to, like you said, meditate on them. Thing is (lol), I have done that, I've been doing for a bit now (I won't say a while becuase it hasnt been a while), and the only one's I have been able to are the Four of Cups, Seven of Swords, Eight of Wands, Ace of Pentacles, and the Nine of Cups. I probably need to just get more practice and meditate more on them and it will come to me. I was mainly wondering does it depend on the deck? Do different decks aspire different meanings of the cards? (if these is an ignorant question, please feel free to tell me so!)

What creative pursuits do you associate with the Fool card in tarot? I asked the tarot in which direction my creative talents lie, and I drew the Fool card from the Major Arcana. Everything I've read suggests this is a highly creative card, associated with humour and a child-like attitude. However, is it actually pointing me in a particular direction as to which creative path to pursue?
Where can I find, or commission the creation of, silver medallions with symbols of the major arcana? Looking to complete a costume of Halloween, otherwise known as Gabriel Kennedy Hall, from Nick Sagan's Idlewild, where he has medallions inscribed with the symbols of the 22 major arcana from a deck of tarot cards. If I could find an online shop that handles custom work for a decent price that would be awesome.
What would be a tarot reading that appears bad, but is actually harmless? I suppose the death card would be one of them... Maybe the fool. I'd prefer major arcana cards, but the suit of swords would work too, being that swords can appear rather... likely to impale you. Oh, I know that. I want cards that sound like they have intimidating names. E.G death. I know they're harmless. I have to make a mini-movie for a class I'm taking, I want to lay down 3 cards or whatever, have them look frightening to mislead the viewer, before it's revealed they aren't negative in anyway. You understand?

Sounds important, since all of them were major arcana.

It has all four suits and the major arcana. Where would I be able to buy Tarot Cards in Ireland? I'm interested in buying tarot cards and learning how to use them. Preferably, the Major Arcana Deck. But I don't know where I could buy them in Ireland. So can anyone help me?
Why is the number 13 reckoned unlucky by the English? The usual explanation is 13 at the Last Supper ... but I've heard some alternative explanations ... that it may have something to do with the Major Arcana of the Tarot, with the mermaids of the North Sea, or with Philippe Le Belle and the Knights Templar (shades of Dan Brown). What do you reckon? Is the Last Supper theory just a Christian repackaging of older and/or less respectable beliefs? Which theory do you think is the right one and why? I'm astonished at the variety of explanations you have furnished ... and several of them are very plausible. It's going to be tough to select a best answer ... I think I will do it on the basis of which explanation I am personally most persuaded by. Many thanks to you all. Do I need the Minor Arcana? I have both Major and Minor Arcana cards, but is the Minor Arcana necessary for every reading, or is it possible to just use Major?
I'm a new student of the tarot. My zodiac sign is sagittarius,I wanted to know which card is associated with it? Specifically which major arcana card is associated with the sagittarius sign .I'm a bit lost because I've found different answers in different sources, most commonly the sagittarius association with the temperance card, in others with the devil card ("Sagittarius : Letter 15 (Samekh): XV The Devil" ) and last, with the Hermit card . Is there a significance with drawing you and someone else's zodiac sign in a card reading? Lets say you ask a simple yes/no question about you and someone else, and the two cards that you draw out (only using the major arcana in tarot cards) are both of your zodiac signs, does that make your question an ultimate yes, or is there some underlying meaning other than yes or no?

Do you think devising my own Tarot cards would be useless? I am thinking of making my own tarot cards with the major arcana, but I was curious whether the cards should be exactly like that (the names, the number, the meanings) or could I come up with my own cards and meanings? Of course, the predictions as always would be subjective, but well, fate or luck, I would draw some card each time. Get off you science nerd-o's lol

Please be sensitive towards others' beliefs.
Incomplete Tarot Deck? I recently found my tarot deck that I had a few years ago. But when I recounted it, I realized that I was missing two of the Major Arcana cards - The Hanged Man and The Emperor. To what extent would this affect my tarot readings, would it be taboo to still use the deck, and would it be harmful to make the missing cards myself?

The Gay Tarot by Lee Bursten and Antonella Platano? I recently purchased "The Gay Tarot" and have been trying my own readings for the last few weeks (I'm a green horn). Sadly, I've lost the booklet that identifies the card meanings. Could someone direct me to a place where I can print out the meanings? Or perhaps tell me what they are. When it comes to spiritual matters do you consider yourself to be on the one true path or a open hearted fool? The Fool represents the Negative space above the Tree of Life, the source of all things. It is the Qabalistic Zero, the Equation of the Universe, the initial and final balance of the opposites, both the father and the mother - male and female, in an abstract sort of way. The Fool is intricately linked with all 21 cards of the Major Arcana - in fact, many theorists maintain that the other Major Arcana cards are parts of the Fool's whimsical journey of self-discovery, culminating with the Number 21 World Card, bringing successful completion, accomplishment and fulfillment. Because the Fool is trusting and open to all experiences, he provides the perfect role model as we too embark on our life journey. The Fool coaxes us to walk our own path, not the path of the "herd". To trust our own inner voice, our intuition and our inner knowing and to embark on our life course with faith and a stout heart. We need trust, faith in the goodness of life and people, and an undying belief that all will work out exactly as it should. The Fool is the ultimate "Free Spirit" - this card represents the self-actualized person, free from societal constraints, someone who is able to let go of outmoded beliefs and ideals with the courage to pursue their own special path. Coyotes love to *grin* too. : ) O` yes, and to *gnaw* on living things not old dry, stale bones the clergy try and hand out. : )
Tarot Interepretation? Recently had a big decision to make, decided to do a tarot reading - I am very new to it all. I did the cross of truth reading of 5 x cards. Card 1 = Magician, 2 = Judgement, 3 = Hanging Man, 4 = Fool and 5= Tower. It was a major decision I had to make, and all five cards were major arcana. I am curious to know others interpretation of the cards - particularly as I am new to tarot readings. Position 1 = Current position, 2 = Desire, 3 = Working in your favour, 4 = working against your favour and 5 = outcome
Tarot card help? i have a set of tarot cards, and also a book that came along with it. The book tells me the major arcana upright and reversed, but for the minor, it only tells me the upright, does it have anything for the reversed? or does it mean it both ways. Befor it explaines the cards indivuadly, it says what the whole suit means, ands also upside down, but, is it the same for each card reversed? ahhaha i found it thanks
Experienced Tarot readers.................? I am new to learning about the cards. I have my own "abilities" and have not needed the tarot until now. I am using them to help me focus and get a clearer understanding. I have started learning about them and did several readings for myself and several for some friends at the moment so that I can familiarize myself with them and connect. My question is, though, each reading I have done for myself I have noticed that the Major Arcana are the most laid out and I usually have had only one or two of the minor arcana come into play. Is there a reason why the Major Arcana are the most prominent in my readings for myself and not for others? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you. Please, no snide remarks, this is part of my belief and if you do not agree then let's agree to disagree. Thank you. I know reading for myself is not the most accurate, but this has happened to me off and on most of my life when others have read for me. I was just wondering why the Major rather than the minor? Is there a significance to a Major layout rather than a balanced or minor layout? I guess I should have been more specific. Mel, those are the exact cards that kept coming up. I have been feeling a great change coming through my "abilities" and feeling from them. I have been worrying about what it is because it is more of a nagging feeling like I need to pay attention to what is about to happen very soon and I can't tell if it will be very good or very bad but it will be one of the extremes. I hate that constant feeling. Right before solstice I felt it more strongly and it had my senses on alert, but now it seems to be idle but still that weird feeling of what is to come. I may try to re read them tonight since I have done my majority of the reads in the day. See if the calm of the night can make things clearer.
Tarot deck ideas? Have you ever watch/read some story that you found it similar to 22 Major Arcana for sample: Harry Potter you think as magician, Hermione the empress...bla bla bla, it could be any series of popular shows. Dont hesitate to throw the characters into deck, cuz I'm intrigued ;)
A question for tarot readers? Do you believe that any of the Major Arcana are more significant than others? Do you think any are less important? Could the amount of Major Arcana in a deck be reduced by combining two or more of cards with the simaler meanings? If so what would you call the replacement cards? Try to tackle this question as though you were creating a new tarot deck for yourself.
Path vs. Labels? My path was carved out for me when Iw as born, and it wasn't until I was 13 before I started carving my path for myself. I've never stopped. In the woods I come across a sign with the word "Pagan" on it and an arrow pointing roughly in the direction my path is taking me. But I don't see a path. I must continue to carve my own. Am I about to adopt a deity? No. I do not believe I can personify the essence of the universe: Love, for it is in all things and all life and needs to be accepted as such, not reduced to a label and a single form. And I have too great an understanding of that essence to turn my back on it. That is my path: to follow Love where it leads me. Those familiar with the Tarot will recognize the Fool, though I like to think I am the one at the end of the Major Arcana, not the one at the beginning ;-) I have been the Magus. I have been the Hermit. I have been the Emperor. I have faced Death, and known the heart ache of the Tower. Onward I say.
Tarot Card Reading? When using tarot cards, do you use the major arcana, the minor arcana, or both?
Tarot Interpretation?? I did a Relationship spread (Me, them, Outcome) I used Crowley-Thoth deck. It is said that Major Arcana, court and aces mean that one person is more interested than the other, is that true?. What do you think these cards mean together: Me- Knight of Swords Them- The Lovers Outcome- Strife (five of wands)

Can someone interpret this tarot spread please? Queen of Swords Briefly: Her future lies in learning to trust others again. In Detail... Physically usually (though not always) tall and/or slender woman. Quite often has dark hair. Refined appearance and conservative in dress most of the time. Gracious manner. She prefers sophisticated clothing. Personality is cautious and clever. Can be cunning, destructive and manipulative. She is often aloof and distant. She keeps her distance and puts up barriers around herself. She displays an air of unemotional responses. She may appear hard, selfish and self-controlled. Beneath her facade she hides much previous emotional pain and/or hardship. She has learnt how to survive. She is a woman alone. She is either a widow, divorced, a spinster or without a loving partner. She may have spent a long time on her own and keeps up her defences and her sword drawn to protect her at all times. She has a fondness for red roses. She looks good in black clothing. She likes to wear expensive or perhaps antique and conservative jewellery most of the time, though sometimes she wears some bold jewels. She knows she would or could be seduced if she lets her guard down. She is not a social butterfly. She can seem to be unforgiving in some circumstances, but this is her self-defence mechanism being activated to avoid feeling pain and disturbing emotional reactions. She cries in her sleep, and little elsewhere. She feels more in control if she can avoid having too deep feelings for anyone, lest they puncture her heart and give her reason to despair. She can become big hearted if in the right company and circumstances and when she feels safe and secure. There is hope for her and she is wise enough to know it. She is symbolic of the rose, seductive and potentially dangerous, capable of cutting the skin and making it bleed, yet the soft velvety petals can blossom into the most beautiful arrangement and captivate your heart. She is wistful and reflective, serious yet sensuous, yet always alert. She is capable of being the Goddess or the crucifier. Occupations suited to her would be the head of a company or large organisation. Also she would make a great surgeon, doctor, police officer, dentist or anything that involves the use of sharp items or weapons. She would make a good soldier, warrior, fighter or leader of a revolution. She knows only one truth, her own. Her future lies in learning to trust others again. She has been severely betrayed in the past by women and men alike. She may need to take a leaf out of the book of the Queen of Cups, who is more giving, loving and affectionate. She could have a love relationship but only if total trust exists. There is no room for dishonesty or lies. If she is betrayed, she severs her relationships completely and irrevocably and never goes back. Friends are cast off and not seen again should they make the mistake to betray or abuse her. Her goodwill only stretches so far and behind that she may lose some of her sense of compassion, knowing that others should learn to be more self-reliant, like herself. She may go to the extreme of cutting off her husband's head, should he betray or deceive her. Querent's card. If this is you, then you may be being called to meet the challenge of your strengths and you will meet this head on regardless of whether this produces success or failure. Even in failure, you will learn where you went wrong and this is the ultimate lesson. If you are not the querent and this card appears, I suggest that you make an ally of this woman, because she can be a powerful opponent if you should cross her. She is loyal and steadfast to those she gets close to, just don't mess with her, because you will wish you hadn't. Your World - Your Focus What surrounds you currently, how others view you, where you are both mentally and spiritually. Queen of Pentacles Briefly: You are on your way to fame and fortune. In Detail... The picture on this card shows a beautiful woman wearing lovely clothes and a crown on her head, placed on top of lovely beaded headwear. She holds in front of her a large pentacle and her hands are slim and well manicured. She wears a special ring, which has a large oval stone set in it, which is possibly a ruby. There are mountains in the background, similar to those in Hawaii. There is foliage around her and nuts growing on these. Generally she has blue eyes, though could have any eye colour. If you are this person, you are on your way to fame and fortune. You may come into a windfall, marry well, or somehow stumble upon a unique way to increase your income. You will be well liked by your friends and loved by your family and husband. You are serious, yet vulnerable. You are calm, yet can be set back by those who stir conflict around you. The comforts of life are important, more so for your own peace within your own mind knowing that you have what you need. If you are not this woman, then you will meet someone like her who supports you in many and varied ways. If you are a female, this woman will become your most ardent fan and friend. If you are a male, this woman may become your lover or your wife. Cherish her, for she is loyal and affectionate and has your best interests at heart. Your Lovers World - Their Focus What surrounds your Lover currently, how others view them, where they are both mentally and spiritually. Eight of Wands Briefly: A new love is coming into your life and very swiftly at that. In Detail... This card has a picture of eight wands running right across it. For some this can mean that a new love is coming into your life and very swiftly at that. It brings things quickly into focus and gives you the opportunity to seize a brilliant opportunity or improve your life in some way. You could also be about to move to a more tranquil setting in either your home life or the location or your work. A river or other picturesque scene may be part of your new environment, or you may meet someone special in just such a location. If you are planning a pregnancy, now may be your most fertile time. The energy of the season of Spring may make you feel inspired to be especially creative. Nature of your Issues together Either past influences or current what surrounds you both. The Chariot Briefly: Travel awaits you. Should the other travel card, the six of swords also be in your card layout, then this is an indicator that you are to move across new ground, or maybe even purchase a mode of travel such as a car. In Detail... Generally speaking this card depicts some kind of travel. Should the other travel card, the six of swords also be in your card layout, then this is an indicator that you are to move across new ground. However, even by itself, as this is a major arcana card, travel is still a strong possibility. You may travel quite a distance and your goal is to get there, by whatever means you can find, even horseback if necessary. This can also mean that someone is coming from a long distance towards you. For some people this can represent getting a new mode of transport, such as buying your first car, or buying a new car or bike or whatever. The emphasis is on getting to your destination by the quickest route available. This card too is about choices. You may have to make a major decision around this time that will alter your circumstances quite dramatically. Do not resist change for that will disrupt the natural flow of events that are waiting to unfold for you. Also I have seen this card manifest in matters to do with re-decorating the home. Sometimes it is just new curtains or cushions, however the aim is to bring comfort into the home. Obstacles to overcome Areas that need to be illuminated, places that need to be worked through. Ace of Swords Briefly: Broaden your horizons and make sweeping changes. Your future is about to move ahead in many and varied ways. In Detail... When you draw this card, you are being given the urge to broaden your horizons and make sweeping changes. Your future is about to move ahead in many and varied ways. This card cuts aside those things and people that you no longer need or are relevant to your life. This can also too be a fertility card, so if you are seeking to bring a new baby into the world, this can help to manifest it. It is possible that you may feel like making a new beginning in your life and starting over. You could move house, change jobs, get married or have a new baby arrive. Whichever you choose, it will be a welcome change and one that will require additional energy on your part, however you will more than adequately meet the new challenge. Physically, it could mean that an operation is imminent, and that your health is undergoing some changes. It is possible that something has to be removed, whether that be a tooth or other body part, and it may be replaced with an artificial part. This gives the ability to recover quickly and to get on with the rest of your life. You may also be undergong major psychological changes where you are feeling more confident and outgoing. You may start becoming more ambitious or self-motivated and ready to take on new challenges and dare to do more than you have ever done before. Luck is on your side. Lessons & Signs to watch for The Divine Universal watch tower! Signs to signal their impending arrival, areas that need illuminating... only you will know that which needs to be seen. Three of Wands Briefly: The seeker of knowledge and truth. He searches until he finds what he is looking for. In Detail... This card depicts a man with his back to us though revealing part of his face as he looks out over the hillside. He holds a wand in his hand which has three leaves sprouting from it signifying growth and abundance. In front of him is another wand and behind him the third wand. He is contemplating his future and possibly the journey ahead of him. In the distance are mountains with high peaks. It appears to be an almost barren environment, warm and dry. However he has with him the symbols of growth and can plant wherever he sees fit. He wants to settle down, but must first wander and roam until he finds his true home. This card too is the seeker of knowledge and truth. He searches until he finds what he is looking for. Your Hopes, Fears, Desires What is it that your soul really wants and needs. The Sun Briefly: There is also the possibility, for those who desire a child, that a pregnancy is imminent. Any new business venture also has the signs of success written on it, so proceed with confidence that all will be well. In Detail... This card depicts the Sun and in the front of this are a male and a female looking deep into each others eyes. There are sunflowers on the card, some greenery and a wall in the background. Often this card symbolises Summer or is associated with the sing of Leo. Perhaps an important event will occur around your own Summer month or during the one month time span of Leo which is from July 23 up to August 22. For some this can mean a very special relationship on the horizon, and one that may very well lead to marriage, this will be a successful union and bring much happiness into both people's lives. There is also the possibility, for those who desire a child, that a pregnancy is imminent. Any new business venture also has the signs of success written on it, so proceed with confidence that all will be well. Also a distinct possibility is a trip to a warm location in the near future. Your Lovers Hopes, Fears, Desires What is it that your lovers soul really thirsts for? King of Swords Briefly: Now is the time to make a clean break with what you have been doing up until now. In Detail... Physically he is usually tall and relatively slim. Sometimes bearded and with piercing eyes, either blue or black. He sometimes gives an austere appearance. He may look like he doesn't smile too often. He may not age well and could tend to look rather weathered or older than he actually is, even at a young age. Mostly he would have dark hair. Conservative in attire most of the time. Serious manner in appearance and clothing. Personality: Can be abrasive, tactless and have a harsh attitude towards life and his efforts for survival. He may have fought various battles, personal or in times of war, that have left him feeling empty and scarred. He may even have a physical scar on his face or hands. He tends to treat people abrubtly, as if they annoy him just by their presence. He is serious and often secretive. Often, what he doesn't say, says it all. His look can condemn. He likes to be in charge and in control of his life and his environment. He is generally in business suits or a uniform of some type. He appreciates the discipline of keeping up appearances and likes his boots polished very well. He may actually collect old relics or swords as a hobby and enjoy cleaning and polishing them and putting them on display in his home. He is generally tidy by nature, methodical and despising clutter and useless items. He believes that life is meant to involve hard work and he would not like to be unemployed at any time, as he likes the structures of time and discipline in his well-ordered life. He would appreciate a good steak. He dislikes waste and frivolity. He has the gift of intelligence, commonsense and foresight. He likes to have well-defined plans and goals. He is a stickler for rules and doing his duty. He is a born leader. He appreciates time. He is capable of being the instructor. Occupations suited to him would be the head of a company or large organisation. Also he would make a great surgeon, doctor, police officer, dentist or anything that involves the use of sharp items or weapons. He would make a good soldier, warrior, fighter or leader of a revolution. His future lies in being more open to others if he is to feel fulfilled at the end of his life. He could fall in love again, or renew his vows with his wife if already married. He is faithful though observant of the beauty of women. He especially admires women of grace and good manners. He is as vulnerable as the next man, but rarely shows it. He will have a relationship if she shows enough direct interest in him. Querent's card. If this is you, now is the time to make a clean break with what you have been doing up until now. Sever the past and start anew. You can heed the challenge. You are brave and can face anything the future holds. Just say yes! If you are not the querent and this card appears, I suggest that you allow this person to be themselves. Do not stand in this man's way, he will rollercoaster over you without even noticing you were stood there in the first place. He can be the most sincerest friend, only after you have proven your friendship to him, never before. What Challenges your Relationship Areas that require awareness and attention. The Tower Briefly: For some people this can mean a radical change in their lives that was unexpected. It can be major house move, change of location to a totally different area or country, a divorce, or other sudden development which means you have to adapt to the ever changing forces around you. In Detail... This is an awesome card to look at. There is a picture of a tower and in the background is a storm and lightening. There are dark clouds and the sea leaps up around the building. There are people leaping from the windows to escape the blazing inferno. For some people this can mean a radical change in their lives that was unexpected. It can be major house move, change of location to a totally different area or country, a divorce, or other sudden development which means you have to adapt to the ever changing forces around you. Sometimes if means that a radical overhaul of your life is needed to put things into a different perspective for you. You may have been in a rut or felt unable to make new changes, and the energy of this card shows that somehow an event will occur that gives you the opportunity to do just that. If some disaster does strike that you have difficulty coping with, be aware that for some reason there is a lesson or a message in the experience for you to learn from. If a relationship ends around this time, take heed that this was meant to be, and that your resistance to move with the ever changing tide will be made more difficult if you do not adapt. It will be easier on yourself if you can remain flexible and ready to do whatever you have to do when the time comes. The Final Outcome The Final Card, the outcome of it all, the future of your relationship. Page of Cups Briefly: Time to discover some new career direction that will lead you towards prosperity. In Detail... The picture on this card is of a youngish person, who is often male, though this can indicate a female. He is colourfully dressed and wears a hat and some plumage in it. He carries some red flowers, and a cup with a fish jumping about in it. He looks content and yet very innocent. He could be about to embark on a new career or had just graduated from college, university or from law school. He is clean shaven, either blue or black eyes and has lovely sleek hair. He loves to wear bright coloured clothing which reflects his warmth and compassion for others. If you draw this card and the person is yourself, you may discover some new career direction that will lead you towards prosperity. If it is someone else, they could become very important to you, either by becoming your new best friend, or your lover or husband/wife. This person is also highly sensitive and should therefore only mix with people who are positive and enthusiastic. There may also be some special occasion coming up where you have to put on your best threads. Hi Pam, thank you, that was very accurate!! I had a tarot spread online and didn't know how to interpret it, but you did very accurately. My desire is love and sincerity, but he seems to want dominance. Can this be resolved? the 8 of wands describes his studies - he is busy in grad sch. and queen of swords (first card) describes me, yes. the chariot shows he is overseas! Amazing. And yes, I agree with the tower and the ace of swords. There' egos and power struggles here, but I don't know when I could talk to him - when I try he avoids it. he seems to want to be in control but i don't want to be controlled. I was thinking it's not what I want but I don't know how to resolve it..
3 Card Tarot Spread? Today, I did a daily 3 card spread and I had all three Major Arcana cards: Moon, Tower, Lovers (in that order; universal deck). I would like some further analysis from a neutral third party...What do you guys think?? Thanks!!
