Have you heard about or experienced any type of spiritual or energy healing? I'm looking a lot into types of energies and healing. I've seen techniques ranging from using your own energy fields to summoning Jesus, etc. I want to try some of it myself but have my doubts. What I want to know is, have you had any experience with spiritual, religious or energy healing? Do you know of any success stories or have any good resources? Thanks and have a good one!!

Do you think Obama should have included more alternative medicine and energy healing in the healthcare bill? The Health care bill wages war on alternative medicine. Even a casual look at the fine details shows a clear desire to steer people away from chiropractic, acupuncture, supplementation, and energy medicine, and spiritual therapy and help/care. Any thinking person should be OUTRAGED since WESTERN corporate drug company and government controlled medicine is best when mixed with spiritual healing and treatment.

Can spiritual healing help medical problems? I get real bad blood sugar problems sometimes and I think most of it is just from stress and a really bad energy buildup. I am a definite believer in healing from the inside out, the mind, spirit, and the body to follow. What are some ways to heal my spiritual energy so my body will start to follow suit? Does anyone believe in people with 'energy' for healing? In the past, people would gather and with faith and prayer, people would become healed, but those were not people from all walks of life. I mean, what if we had football stars, psychics, actors, artists, crazies, people who are best at what they do, join in prayer and spiritual healing and try to achevie a higher level ? well what i mean is in the past people would gather around and not all of them might have this power, but if we actually had many high profile, and by that I don't mean just celebrities, but I man all major psychics, etc. I'd like to see it done.. Of course you have to have faith tho.

Catholics, Is possible that there is a good spiritual energy that heal my illness? It is started when I had an upset stomach. I cannot eat nor drink water. And, I also have a headache and nausea. I took the medicine Motillium as a first aid. Maybe iI am suffering from a dyspepsia. In my dream, I was in my old apartment at Reina Regente St. Then, I was looking at the window and there are floods everywhere but not necessarily like in Noah's Ark story. Later, a group of my friends singing gospel praise songs and I joined them. One of then named Zarah Grace, I told her in my dream that I have a bad dream about her. She is a Protestant. She told me that she doesn't believe in the interpretation of the dreams. And, she also added that it is possibly that my dream about her on the other night came from Satan. When I woke up, I started to feel at ease. I have enough rest. I am no longer having a headache, and I do not have stomach ache anymore.

Spiritual Healing and Sweet Potatoes? I have a strange leg condition, I have had it for about 5 years now where when I am running my left leg, starting at about the left hip down will become sluggish and unresponsive after I have fun the first couple of miles. When this condition began it started as an intense pain right in my left hip, right where the pelvis and thigh meat. It seems to me it had to be a nerve condition (pressure on the nerve channel or damage to myelin sheathe) or some minor obsruction of the circulatory channel through the area. Prior to this I was a very avid runner, running many miles a day (this way sort of my escape from the pressures of life) and I could some how use this as a catalyst to turn negative anxiety energy into a positive productive energy. I know some may say this seems like whining, but when you have grown used to the habit (as I had for several years and had come to rely upon it to keep me feeling uplifted) it really takes ahold of you: I know some people don't even have the liberty to be able to walk, but I could run and as long as this was and is within my capacity, why should I not do everything in my power to fix my leg? Anyways I tried my doctor and a nerve specialist, and their results were inconclusive, but they didn't really seem to be striking at a point of interest whenever I made it, usually jostling me around to another specialist so that it seemed to me I could just (or my insurance) shell out more money between them. My dad finally got me to see a "spiritual healer" (I know it sounds strange), it was the mother of a girl that worked for him from california. She assessed my leg and came to the conclusion that the "energy channel' through my left leg had been damaged. She said I had a strong action mentality and that I was a 'doer', and this was manifest in my right leg, but that I didn't feel supported (financially, and in the family etc.) which was at least partially true because I know my step dad and mother are both evil, and I am trying to find a way to make myself more independent of them in general and break off communication completely eventually. The lady also said that I had to eat sweet potatoes to increase the amount of "blue energy" that flowed through my left leg: I did and whenever I eat these I get pins and needles in my left foot for some reason and I does indeed feel like that part of my leg is healing (for instance, the left thigh will get sore like it is just recently recieving oxygen or the nerve is coming back to life in the area). Does anyone know what on earth is going on, i used to be kind of skeptical of spiritual aura, but not so at the moment. The lady even heard the music in my head that I was listening to when she looked at my leg, I was sort of freaked out (as if they could read my mind). How to strenghten my chi/spiritual energy? I was at my local park when this little boy fell of of his bike and had quite bad injuries on his leg and it was bleedin. The kiddo started to cry and yell about his pains. Then i somehow not even thinking straight put my hand few inches above his injury and then the kid said that it doesnt hurt anymore and thanked me. I myself was shocked and ppstarted to ask how or what i did. So i have been researching possibilitie of what happened and found out that it could be because of my spiritual or chi energy not sure. And that is whatni like to ask. Do i really have this healing abilities or was it just a mere coincidence? describe this spiritual healing? I just found out that my great grandmother was a healer. People would come from all around to have her lay her hands on them to be healed. The couple days after she would heal someone, she would be completely worn out, like all the energy had been drained from her. What is this? Its the first I've ever heard of this. My friend and i were at the gym and he said that he had tried to "heal" himself with his energy but it had drained him so much to do this that it actually seemed to make him sicker. Religion, spiritual healing, please help? Okay so today I spent the day with a Religious friend, (I do belive in god also just diff ways of thinking) So she was telling me she had a head ache And we were at the mall and I said oh u probably have ojo in English the evil eye wich just means someone is giving u bad energy do to hate or dislike also envy causing u to feel Ill. Point is we got at it because she was saying it's wrong to do that becuase it's not religious. So then I said so it's bad to use an egg like that because it's witch craft becuase u should pray for god to help u not use the egg but it's alright to go to the doctor for help or to use advils to help remove ur head ache? Then she said god gave knowlege to people and that's why there is doctors and then I said well god created the chiken who gives the egg. Then I said so it's wrong to use an egg to remove evil eye but it's not wrong to blast ur body with radiation to cure canser. Then we just kept going at it and at it. what religion, spiritual healing practice has helped you find peace and guidance in life? It doesn't have to be christianity, sikhism, buddhism, or even belief in any god/gods. It can be your own personal spirituality and finding your innermost peace with your bodymind and headmind. Or you may have expelled it all together which is perfectly respectable as well. I personally don't follow a god or religion but believe spirituality and energy resonates from us all. Just want to hear some opinions. She was very upset at the time and her new-agey coworker said he could help her. He ran his fingers from her temples to the middle of her forehead, made a sweeping motion with his fingers and just like that, she felt all better. Is it right that there should be jealousy among mediums/lightworkers/Spiritual workers? I ask this as I used to have a mentor who introduced me to development circles, Spiritual healing, Evenings of clairvoyance etc. As time wore on within our friendship my intuition told me to be slightly guarded with what he was saying to me teaching etc. He was a good friend to me but during a pivotal time in my life when I was told the truth about my future and how I was a lightworker by the same person that he first consulted with he changed his tune with me and on a delicate matter said something to someone very close which ended up causing great disharmony. It would be wrong of me as a medium to discredit another but he used to have great healing energies about him and it was shortly before New Years day he had sent me a text wishing me "Happy New Year" and the energies that came from that text was nothing I thought I would ever feel from him they were negative almost resentful. Can anyone recommend a good career for someone interested in biology, evolution and psychology? I am very intrigued with the human mind and mental illnesses and also a very good counselor. However i would prefer to do something that really answers questions about such things which takes me back to biology. I am not impresses with the mental health options or answers they have. Asked pahrmacist bout Tramadol that I was given for TMJD & she started talking bout karma,angelic healing etc!? No offence but wtf? Is not Christianity a form of skepticism or antispirituality? Since they don't have spiritual experiences, know anything about how the spirit world (astral realm) really works, meditate, or have open chakras or know anything about spiritual protection, what their soul looks like, spirit energy, ectoplasm, healing, or really anything at all when it comes to spirituality. Most Christians I have talked to are very skeptical about any spiritual phenomenon outside what the bible claims happened.

How to learn about healing? I recently went to have a palm reading by a well-known local psychic. She told me that I carried the 'stigmata of healer' and needed to focus my energy on learning more more about that. She said in 25 years she had only had the opportunity to read for 3 other people that carried that mark, so it was important to follow up on this, since my guides obviously thought I was ready to learn about it (by leading me to a reading). I know what many think about psychics, so I just want to say that she didn't say I needed any follow-up readings (or even offer another future reading) and she didn't offer to help me with the learning process. She showed me the lines and I looked it up online and in some books... sure enough that is supposedly what it is. I'm 40 years old already, so I don't see how I could end up being a healer but maybe I'm supposed to learn about healing... and I'm sure this is probably spiritual healing, not physical. Spiritual practices, so many questions. !2 year old girl? Merry Meet. I am a twelve year old girl but I feel I am an old soul.I can see auras, and I'm for some reason REALLY fascintaed by all things spiritual. I have no religion, but was raised christian. Is it true that reiki attunements fade with time? There are many energy systems in healing, is attunement in one system cansal the attunement taken in someother energy systems previously? Usui Master in Reiki was attuned due to his spiritual practiceses automatically, Is it must that we must be attuned by a master or we can access the same level of energy by devoting our intentions and doing meditations and fastings to attain the same level? Which energy will be more healing and energising, the energy received by letting the master to open your channles or the self acquired one? Does healing energies differ from each other in receiving attunements in different systems, or the same healing energy works in all different systems? If their frequencies differ than the difference is due to different masters, or due to different sources? How can one differentiate between positive and negative healing source, if the source differs?

here is my story of a battle between the phoenix force (X-men/marvel) and Primus (transformers)? The story might not be completely accurate but I will try my best. the phoenix force is roaming threw the galaxy and and runs into cybertron and the surrounding stars systems. The phoenix sees the transformer civil war and isn't happy about it. So it decides to go and destroy their home planet cybertron as a punishment for the war. when it gets to cybertron it is shocked to see that cybertron is really primus.(cybertron finished transforming before the phoenix arrived because optimus prime warned primus when he saw the phoenix).The battle begins when Phoenix starts attacking primus. The phoenix begins shooting powerful energy blasts at primus while primus starts shooting back with his powerful energy cannons. The battle goes on like this for a while until primus traps phoenix with an energy force field. It hold phoenix for a while but then breaks out. Seeing that at their current power levels it will eventually end in a stalemate. So the phoenix runs of to the nearest star and absorbs it's power then returns to face primus.(the travel to the star and back took about 5 seconds) Phoenix releases a powerful blast destroying a lot of primus's body. Primus quickly uses the omega lock and restores him self and gives himself a powerboost. The battle goes on again with phoenix and primus attacking each other and every time primus gets hit he uses the omega lock to heal himself and phoenix using energy from from future generations to heal itself. Phoenix decides to try to completely obliterate primus before he can use the omega lock so phoenix releases a super powerful blast that obliterates the omega lock and almost completely obliterates primus. Primus with whats left of his body uses a powerful blast to the extent of his strength on the phoenix that severely hurts it. Phoenix then absorbs more energy thus healing itself. Primus's body then dies and his spiritual energy form is released. phoenix thinking it won prepares to leave but than is struck by a sword. It looks around and finds that having destroyed primus's body it has released the more powerful spirit energy primus. The battles begins yet again but only for a while as phoenix is overpowered by primus. Primus than uses his sword and slices phoenix in half than decimates it by destroying it completely with a very powerful energy blast. Primus than restores every thing to what it was before the battle (except the phoenix). After comments: Phoenix's psychic powers don't work on primus because he has a processor. Phoenix can't absorb primus when he is in spirit energy form because he is not really energy. primus is manifesting itself in a form of energy and whenever phoenix tries to absorb it he merely decapitates his energy form and reforms somewhere else not to far away (he does that in a millisecond) tell me what you think of the story but no bad comments only helpful criticism. Have I awakened my kundalini energy? I wanted to add some exercise into my life and chose to try out Kundalini yoga. Since I don't like to move too much and since I am seeking some spiritual growth and healing I thought that Kundalini yoga would be the way to go. I used Gurmukh Kundalini Yoga DVD 2 times. After the first time I did it I just felt sore in the muscles as I usually feel after starting any exercise. I also started noticing feeling very antisocial and experiencing night sweats and insomnia. I attributed those to PMS and thought nothing of it. After the second time (after I had my period) The insomnia and feeling hot at night increased. I also started feeling a lot of sinus pressure and also some emotional disturbances and increased disinterest in socializing with people. It didn't even occur to me it could be from Kundalini as I didn't really know much about Kundalini energy and just thought Kundalini was the name of the yoga. I was reading a spiritual book one day and there was a paragraph about awakening your kundalini when not prepared can have unwelcome consequences such as increased body heat, mental disturbances, etc. I immediately went online and started learning about kundalini. I am beginning to wonder if I have at least partially awakened my kundalini energy. If so, how do I embrace it without having to spend money on gurus and kundalini experts? And should I stop doing kundalini yoga altogether? Or should I keep doing it and see if the effects get better or worse overtime?

What is this mythical creature called? I'm looking for the name of a creature that latches onto a human and drains both their physical and spiritual energy, often transposing or swapping malidies with the person they have attached themselves to; so if the creature has a cut or an illness, they will "give it" to the person they have latched onto in exchange for that person's health, but if the person is sick themselves the two just end up swapping illnesses. While they mostly exist in the spiritual realm and have no definate physical form, they can take a humanlike physical form and often need to when a massive transfer of energy or healing is needed. A connection to one does not leave physical marks and the only real sign of such an attachment is the victims almost drug-like addition or desire for a certain item, location, or person. Playing with the otherside, warnings.? Ok so I have been a Spiritual / Energy healer and educator for 14 years. I'm reading a lot of posts here about demons, spirit contact, ouija boards etc. I want just to remind those who are interested in this area to take careful advice before you 'play' with the non physical. I do not care if you are religious or not, it makes no difference in this case, One needs to be careful when dealing with the non physical realms. There are many good organizations world wide who can teach you how to develop spiritual awareness / healing ability / mediumship in a safe protected space. Playing with matches can be fun but being consumed by fire is not all that nice I hear and these things can quickly get out of control if you are not skilled in protective techniques. I know some of the folks here do not have experience of these matters and will aurgue against them as is their right, but if you are interested/curious go and get propper guidance before you disturb the waters. Would anyone agree?

I don't know what to do? My best friend is hurting me a lot lately. She makes plans only to change them because a course has come up, & she 'gets messages' that she needs to do them, she's being guided, etc. She's into Reiki , energy 'healing' & Animal Talk. She also firmly believes the animals understand us, & she talks to them. Recently she upset me saying she wasn't meant to attend a fundraiser in memory of my late Mother. She rubs her thigh with 2 fingers to get a yes/no answer. Also, she claims this was a message from my Mom to upset me, so I'd get angry, & rid myself of some things that were bothering me so I wouldnt' get sick. How sick is what she did to me!!! I told her never to say such things to me & if my Mother ever wanted to say something to me, she'd to it, DIRECTLY to me, not through anyone else, in life OR death. Besides, my Mom never knew my friend. As of yesterday, my friend told me about how good her manicurist is, but when she (my friend) first got up, she had pains in her back..so she rubbed her thigh because she thought it a message about the manicurist. She went on to tell me that the message was that she not go back to the manicurist again.!!!! I suggested she disregard that..but my friend got a little surprised & said..."I can't go against God,I get all my messages from God". YET she claimed the message she got to upset me was from my Mother!!!! Which is it!!?? Had she forgotten that she told me the upsetting message to me was from my Mom, yet she says all messages are from God!!?? I'm beginning to think my friend has become a certified nutcase. It almost feels as though she's a part of a cult. Apart from myself & another g/f..her friends are members of Spiritual Healing, Reiki, or Animal Talk. Also my friend claims to be a healer..what rubbish!!! I do worry about her...she doesn't seem to be the same person I used to know. A different friend of hers had a bit do drink one night, & blasted my friend telling her to 'come back to reality". My friend insists that what she's doing is right, & nothing is going to change her. She spends so much time on Facebook watering virtual plants, doing a virtual farm. She's in a complete dreamworld. I can see it happening that people will soon not want to be bothered with her, & she will find her self only with these other nutcases. We have been friends for a number of years now..became close like sisters, but I can't depend on her 'being there' anymore..& she's hurt me a lot with broken promises to do other things that involve this other crap. Another mind-boggling thing..her brother AND sister are both ordained Ministers!!! I'm sure if they knew exactly what she was doing, they'd be appalled. I don't know who to speak to about my friend with regard to helping her. If I go to her other friend (the one who was drinking) what I say will only be repeated. They've been friends for 30 years, so I don't have faith in that at all.

How do you figure ...we heal Spiritually? REcently I had a surgery, and am discovering ....it takes a long time for the body to be healed...my energy has been low and in thinking about this ..I wondered about ...how wonderful in a way that the body works non stop in healing itself....So if we could glimpse into the Spiritual world and see ...what do you think we would see? I classify myself as Pagan or Spiritual but I don't know which path I follow. Can someone shed some light? I believe in a lot of things, and classify myself as Spiritual or Pagan, but I do not know what path I follow. Some of my beliefs are: -I believe in Mother Nature/Mother Earth -I believe the God and Goddess are in everything(the moon, the stars, the sky,the ocean, the wind) -I believe every creature, tree, plant and rock has a spirit -I believe in reincarnation -I believe that you control what happens after death. Example, if you believe in the Christian faith, you go to heaven or hell, if you believe in reincarnation you are reincarnated, if you believe you disappear after death, you disappear after death, ect. -I believe in healing with positive energy -I believe in auras, dragons and spirits this is just a very quick outline of my beliefs. What would you classify this as?

Is crystal healing haram? How is magic clearly defined in Islam? I think it's easy to get lost in New Age rubbish. I think people are sick of materialism and old physics so they are jumping into Quantum Mysticism (which is not all that respected in scientific circles). Lately there has been an influx of spiritual 'gurus' and so-called mystics in American culture that use a mix of Wicca, ayurvedic medicine, Buddhism, shamanism, etc. in spiritual practices. Some of it is based on so-called quantum theory, like the Law of Attraction, etc. My question : where do we draw the line between science and magic? Honestly, where science and religion are already a debate I care not to get into, my concern at present is the difference between science and magic ! If magic is haram in Islam, what about crystal healing which entails the use of different crystals (it's usually related to chakra healing) for their "energies" that can help with emotional imbalance or even physical and hormonal problems. If we listen to some science, then matter, even thought, is energy ! So is it wrong to use crystals to balance your own energy? Is it wrong to use crystals to absorb negative electromagnetic pollution from your computer? Where do we draw the line? Can this kind of thing be considered medecine? (energy medicine?) or is it magic? (using your own intentions or a form of shirk)? People are turning to this kind of thing because modern allopathic medecine is based on old mathematical physics and we are now seeing that that model is in some ways destructive to health ( a non-holistic viewpoint of health, very reductionist about bio-chemicles, brain-body but never spirit, etc.). What is magic?

How could I sense the more spiritual/paranormal world energies ? Im having trouble feeling emotions as well so i dont know if that makes it harder (dont bother with the psychology answers unless it relates to this somehow and is very detailed from professional knowledge because i know i should see a therapist or doctor or whatever some time but my own problems stop me so im just trying to do some pre-healing using obscure methods. I can not explain my reasons as to why i havent yet because i dont get it either) anyways i just want to be able to sense and feel this sort of force or energy or whatever and perhaps even get some level of psychic senses since i almost need that to help a friend so i can understand her more. What can i do to build this up more? Is there anything easy i can do or is it all harder work over long time? Constructing Pyramid!? 3 years back I happened to travel to Nerur (nearby town from Karur). I visited Sadasiva Brahmendra samadhi and met a very interesting person who is a follower of Ramalinga swamigal. He had a business (grocerry store) once and one night when he was returning to his home, he heard a majestic voice saying "Time to quit Lying". So he sold his business, he constructed a small shrine for his Master in his village home and started his spiritual practice. He invited me to his home and it was a very pleasant small village (few minutes drive from Nerur) and he showed me around his house. That time I saw a small construction in his backyard very similar to Egyptian Pyramid and inquired him about the construction. He invited me inside and there were lots of construction materials inside because of the ongoing work. He asked me to stand in the middle of the room (probably 10x10 sized room), lift both my arms up and keep my palms horizontal. As soon as I did, I really felt a great deal of energy passing through my palms/arms to my body. It was almost like touching a live 50 v wire. I asked him why he is constructing this, he said for spiritual/medical healing. Most of us know the mystic powers the real Pyramids, Why can't new hospitals be constructed in that shape and use cosmic energy for healing people rather than medicines? I heard news about another pyramid being constructed somewhere in Tamil nadu with rooms/beds for healing purpose! If you happen to hear some news about this place please share it with me! Weight loss through prayer and meditation? I have this theory on weight loss: That a) (spiritual) essentials lead to enlightenment b) enlightenment leads to emotion c) emotion leads to energy d) expenditure of energy leads to weight loss... So to increase your energy expenditure which is your metabolism, you must firt seek to increase your emotional level by increasing your enlightenment Therefore you lose weight by increasing emotion... Pure emotions build up a body and make it healthy and whole... negative emotions destroy a body and make it ugly and sick... This is why God healing people with his word was dependent on their faith in God... because they had to receive the healing energies of Emmanual's essentials (which is his biblical word) in order to lose weight... And this is why the Christians that God has made the head and not the tail usually have very fit bodies... I also believe that God can do above and beyond what you expect or think he can do by giving more you more than what you deserve... either in prosperity or in destruction... depending on which path you choose... Do Christians take the Healing and Miracle Power of Jesus seriously? Unbelievers will always deny that God heals, even amputees, even completely dead corpses. Anything that didn't happen under an Atheist's nose didn't happen- unless, of course, it was Evolution. The Bible prophesied that "In The Last Days shall come scorners...yadda, yadda, yadda..." We know that Unbelievers will always disbelieve, down to the Last Second, when they absolutely have to admit that there are some things they don't know nothing about. Okay. What is the excuse of Christians, who claim to believe Jesus healed every case of sickness, disease, maiming, and death that was brought to his attention. The victims did not have extensive knowledge of "Positive Thinking." They didn't have the benefit of fifteen years of schooling, with theological training, and so on. They were just people with needs, who approached someone who wanted to help them, and could. My experience with supposed Christians is that they are too lazy to seriously dig into what they believe and why they believe it, the closer it gets to Miracles and Healing. It is enough for them to believe that these things happened to some Ancient People thousands of years before they were born. They are even prepared to die defending those beliefs. But it is amazing how many millions are prepared to die, or let supposed loved ones suffer agony and death, rather than APPLY THEIR BELIEFS AND DEVELOP HEALING POWERS THEMSELVES. I had no immunity to malaria (a potentially fatal, insect-borne disease), having been brought up where the disease didn't exist. For eight years or so, I survived with the use of the drugs available, until their side-effects became almost worse than the disease, and were doing nothing. Then I got saved, and gave my heart to Jesus, and was baptized with The Holy Ghost, and healed myself through prayer, without using any drugs. (I have known people on my campus who had the finest medical treatment their money could buy- one flew out to Europe for treatment- who died of this disease.) So, no one can tell me that there is nothing to healing. My explanation would be that the Spiritual Power in Christianity boosted or supplemented my immune system- until I learned to heal myself through detoxification (i.e. fasting), which involves nothing spiritual at all, after I left the Pentecostal Organization that tried to tell me they now owned me. (I fell seriously sick almost immediately.) I personally have never attempted healing that requires gross physical replacement, while I have, through my own spirituality research, uncovered several techniques that would apply. However, no Christian I have ever spoken to (including pastors and suffering Christian laymen) have the slightest interest in learning how to heal anything and everything. I cannot give my views away for free. I am considering *paying* Christians to look at them.) I have not attempted to start a church or publish books because I have always despised the use of these tactics to "make money." However, no one respects my principles. Whenever I find someone new to talk to, certain people, even pastors, take them aside and give them a little talk, and then they never talk about it with me any further. Being trained in science (short of diploma or degree level) I can appreciate how Divine Healing is an extremely important miracle, that people who should know better simply take for granted. The energy required to materialize, say, a little finger, or annihilate a cancer, would, if released, crater a large city. Any sort of creative miracle healing involves the synthesis of maybe hundreds of complex chemical substances- which all have to be replicated perfectly, without error, or they could kill the body. Raising the dead involves the transformation of probably thousands of parameters throughout a whole body- all of which have to be done right, or the corpse stays dead. I get very irritated when people talk about this as if it were of no more consequence than them blowing their nose! Spiritually speaking, are there spiritual black holes, like when you die you could be absorbed by an entity? This probably isn't one of my better questions, but give it a shot if you like... What I am referring to is energy, and how energy can be absorbed and used or contained, Wiccans know of this, so if you had somewhere with a huge disaster and many deaths, could all that energy be absorbed by someone or something? Have you ever been healed by a faith healer at church? I'm not religious but I do believe in spiritual energy. I went to a church meeting recently where the pastor is a well known faith healer. The pastor did appear to have energy coming from him that was healing people. Don't get me wrong, NO ONE asked for money, it wasn't like the faith healers on TV taking money from poor people & the pastor drove away in an old run down car so he's not a fraud after people's money. I live in New Zealand and it's not a very religious country so we don't generally have faith healers & gullible people parting with their money like the USA does (no offence!). I was wondering what it felt like for the people who were being healed, like does it feel like electricity coming through their body or something? I'm pretty clued up about the world, I do a lot of research and thinking about spirituality etc. I turned away from the church because i am not a follower by nature, I stand alone and rely on myself. I believe in chakras, etheric body and spirit body. I believe in energy pathways within the body and spiritual healing. I believe that the universe is what can be considered to be 'god'. that is, the whole of everything, and through all time. we are all part of the universe and all part of each other. when we look at spirit, we all have a connection to each other as we are all the same. and this is the nature of love. thus, I believe that we are all god. and god is all of us. also, christ is us and we are christ. I believe i have a responsibility to myself, my higher self which is that that decided to come to earth in this body. my spirit self reached an agreement With all of spirit how my life would be run. since this is me that has decided that before hand and has agreed with all of creation, it is the source of love and joy. I think sometimes that by surrendering to the being referred to as christ or the being referred to as god would be akin to worshipping a graven image. I keep getting drawn to it though so i am in conflict. my beliefs are strong and yet I know that somehow christianity is relevant to my own beliefs. I cannot make this link though. I've read green is healing and yellow in personal growth. He told me to try it and I've never really saw a persons energy aura color before but I tried it and for some reason I got a deep shade of purple in which I've read is spiritual wisdom but I only saw it in my right eye and for some reason it was spinning in a circle. What does that mean and what does those colors represent in depth? He picked up that my Dad's health is getting bad (mind you, he's never even met my Dad) and how he is very stressed out, gaining very bad blurred vision and has pains in his chest and stomach and he may get ulcers. How can I guide my brother Mike back to the right spiritual path when he's been led astray by a fraud? My wife and I introduced my youngest brother Michael to pranic healing about 15 years ago. During this time he was able to grow his spiritual chord from almost nonexistent to just shooting up stories high. He was the happiest I had ever seen him, full of prosperity, had a girlfriend he was in love with, and was becoming among the strongest healers I'd ever encountered. The problem is, our Master Choa, suffered physical death a few years back and this led my brother to a severe depression as this came suddenly. He was in shock and he could not accept the physical part of death especially when having to do with our Master and refused to try to communicate with his eternal life force and energy through prayer and meditation. He broke up with his girlfriend and met this woman who has mental problems as she comes from a broken family of divorce and drug addiction. She led him to Master Co and told him that he helped her in her life and that he should accept this fraud as his new master. He also began doing EFT, release technique, mase method, zpoint, and other programs which have no divine energy. For the past few years he has been talking only about the false Master Co and refusing to do real pranic healing. How can he disrespect our great Master of Masters? I feel his spiritual chord declining daily, and really I fear for him as he rejects my healings and cutting of chords of this fraud from him. Have you ever practice Reiki? Any tips for improvement? For those who haven't heard, it is a spiritual healing method to heal the people physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being by using the universal energy that surrounds us everyday. I got a book about it, "Reiki for Dummies" and it's very useful for educating to people about chakras, manifestation, distant and close contact healing. I have been practicing it for two days and it already helps me with sours, headaches, etc. All I need is a Reiki Master to train me in person and i'm all good. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth. Who is there that could intercede with Him, unless it be by His leave? His eternal power overspreads the heavens and the earth, and their upholding wearies Him not. And He alone is truly exalted, tremendous." (Quran 2:255). The Prophet recommended reading this verse, known as Ayat al kursi, after each prayer, Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. By reminding yourself that He is the Provider, you will remember that getting a job or providing for your family in these economically and politically challenging times, when Muslims are often the last to be hired and the first to be fired, is in God's Hands, not yours. As Allah says in the Quran: "And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if anyone puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him. For Allah will surely accomplish His purpose. Verily, for all things has Allah appointed a due proportion (Quran 65:3). 8. God controls Life and Death If you fear for your physical safety and security, remember that only Allah gives life and takes it back and, that He has appointed the time for it. No one can harm you except if Allah wills. As He says in the Quran: "Wherever you are, death will find you out, even if you are in towers built up strong and high!" (Quran 4:78). 9. Remember that life is short It's easy to get caught up in our own stress and anxiety. However, if we remember that our life is short and temporary, and that the everlasting life is in the Hereafter, this will put our worries in perspective. This belief in the transitory nature of the life of this world reminds us that whatever difficulties, trials, anxieties, and grief we suffer in this world are, Insha Allah, something we will only experience for a short period of time. And more importantly, if we handle these tests with patience, Allah will reward us for it. 10. Do Zikr, Allah, Allah! "... without doubt in the remembrance (Zikr) of Allah do hearts find tranquility" (Quran 13:28). If you commute, use your time in Zikr. Pick any Tasbeeh and do that instead of listening to the radio or reading the newspaper. Maybe you can divide it up between Zikr and planning. Personally, I recite the Tasbeeh of "Subhana Allahe wa be hamdihi, subhan Allahil Azeem" 100 times as I drive. The Prophet taught us these two short phrases which are easy to say but will weigh heavy on our scale of good deeds in the Hereafter. When your heart feels heavy with stress or grief, remember Allah and surround yourself with His Zikr. Zikr refers to all forms of the remembrance of Allah, including Salat, Tasbeeh, Tahmeed, Tahleel, making supplication (Dua), and reading Quran. "And your Lord says: 'Call on Me; I will answer your (prayer)..." (Quran 40:60) By remembering Allah in the way He has taught us to, we are more likely to gain acceptance of our prayers and His Mercy in times of difficulty. We are communicating with the only One Who not only Hears and Knows all, but Who can change our situation and give us the patience to deal with our difficulties. "Remember Me, and I shall remember you; be grateful to Me, and deny Me not" (Quran 2:152). 11. Relying on Allah: Tawakkul When you awaken in the morning, thank Allah for giving you life after that short death called sleep. When you step out of your home, say 'in Your Name Allah, I put my trust in Allah, and there is no power or force except with Allah' (Bismillahi Tawakal to al Allah wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah). At night, remember Allah, with His praises on your lips. Once you have established a plan you intend to follow through on to deal with a specific issue or problem in your life, put your trust in the most Wise and the All-Knowing. "When you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah" (Quran 3: 159). Rely on Allah by constantly remembering Him throughout your day. When you lay down to sleep, remember that sleep is death. That is why one of the recommended supplications before going to sleep is "with Your (Allah's) Name I die and become alive". 12. Connect with other human beings You are not alone. Muslims are not alone. We are not suffering in silence. There are millions of good people who are not Muslim with beautiful hearts and minds. These are people who have supported us, individually and collectively, post-9/11, by checking up on us and making sure we are safe. These are individuals and organizations who have spoken up in defense of Muslims as we endured harassment and discrimination. We must think of them, talk to them, connect with them, and pray for them. Through our connections, we will break the chain of isolation that leads to depression and anxiety. 13. Compare your dining table with that of those who don't have as much as you do The Prophet said: Whenever you see someone better than you in wealth, face or figure, you should look at someone who is inferior to you in these respects (so that you may thank Allah for His blessings) (Bukhari, Muslim). Next time you sit down to eat, eye the table carefully. Check out the selection of food, the quality, the taste, the quantity, and then think of the millions of others who don't have even half as much. The Prophet's Hadith reminds us of this so that we can appreciate and thank God for all that we have. Also remember that the Prophet only encouraged us to compare ourselves to others in two respects: in our Islamic knowledge and level of belief in God (Deen). In these two areas, we should compare ourselves with those who have more than what we do. 14. Say it Loud: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar: Takbirat & Adhan Find a corner of a lake, go out in the wilderness, or even stand on your lawn at your home and call the Adhan with your heart. While driving, instead of listening to the same news over and over again, say Allahu Akbar as loudly as you can or as softly as you want, based on your mood. Year ago, I remember calling Adhan on a Lake Michigan shore in Chicago after sunset as the water gushed against my knees. I was calling it for myself. There was no one else accept the waves after waves of water with their symphony. It was relaxing and meaningful. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. 15. Pray in congregation (Jamat) Pray with other people instead of alone. If you can't pray all five prayers in congregation, at least find one or two prayers you can pray with others. If you are away, establish Jamat in your own family. During the Prophet's time, even though the Muslims endured great persecution, including physical beatings, they would sometimes meet on the side of a mountain or valley and tried to pray together. This is a great morale booster. 16. How is your Imam's Dua? Does the Imam at your local mosque make Dua silently or out loud? Ask him to supplicate with the whole congregation. Suggest Duas for him to make. Ask him to make Dua for other people. 17. Work for the Unity of Muslims Bringing Muslims together will not only help the Muslims, but it will also encourage you to focus your energies on something constructive versus zeroing in on and consistently fretting about difficulties you are going through. Invite Muslims from other ethnic groups to your functions. Visit Masjids other than yours in your city. When you meet a Muslim leader, after thanking him for his efforts, ask him what he is doing for Muslim unity. Ask Imams to make Dua for this. These are just small ways you can help yourself and the Muslim community. 18. Sleep the way the Prophet slept End your day on a positive note. Make Wudu, then think of your day. Thank Allah for all the good things you accomplished, like Zikr and Salat. Ask yourself what you did today to bring humanity together and what you did to help Muslims become servants of humanity. For everything positive, say Alhamdu lillah (Praise be to Allah). For everything negative say Astaghfirullah wa atoobo ilayk (I seek Allah's forgiveness and I turn to You [Allah]). Recite the last two chapters of the Quran, thinking and praying as you turn on your right side with your hand below your right cheek, the way the Prophet used to sleep. Then close your day with the name of Allah on your tongue. Insha Allah, you will have a good, restful night. 19. Begin the Day on a Positive Note Get up early. Get up thanking God that He has given you another day. Alhamdu lillahil lazi ahyana bada ma amatana, wa ilaihin Nushoor (Praise be to Allah Who gave us life after death and unto Him will be the return). Invest in an audio tape driven alarm clock so you can get up to the melody of the Quran. Or Let Dawud Wharnsby's joyful notes put you in a good mood. Sing along if you like. Develop your to do list for the day if you didn't do it the night before. Begin with the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing in the heavens or the earth can hurt you. He is the Highest and the Greatest. (Bismillahillazi la yazurru maa ismihi shaiun fil arze wa la fis samae, wahuwal Alee ul Azeem).The Prophet used to say this after every Fajr and Maghrib prayers. 20. Avoid Media Overexposure: Switch from News to Books Don't spend too much time checking out the news on the radio, television or internet. Spend more time reading good books and journals. When you listen to the persistent barrage of bad news, especially relating to Muslims nowadays, you feel not only depressed, but powerless. Cut down media time to reduce your stress and anxiety. It's important to know what's going on but not to an extent that it ruins your day or your mood. (similarly, when you are in a sad mood, refrain from wallowing and listening to sad songs) 21. Pray for Others to Heal Yourself. The Prophet was always concerned about other people, Muslims and non-Muslims, and would regularly pray for them. Praying for others connects you with them and helps you understand their suffering. This in itself has a healing component to it. The Prophet has said that praying for someone who is not present increases love. 22. Make the Quran your Partner Reading and listening to the Quran will help refresh our hearts and our minds. Recite it out loud or in a low voice. Listen to it in the car. When you are praying Nafl or extra prayers, pick it up and use it to recite portions of the Quran you are not as familiar with. Connecting to the Quran means connecting to God. Let it be a means to heal your heart of stress and worries. Invest in different recordings of the Quran and their translations. "O humanity! There has come to you a direction from your Lord and a cure for all [the ills] in men's hearts - and for those who believe, a Guidance and a Mercy" (Quran 10:57). 23. Be thankful to Allah "If you are grateful, I will give you more" (Quran 14:7). Counting our blessings helps us not only be grateful for what we have, but it also reminds us that we are so much better off than millions of others, whether that is in terms of our health, family, financial situation, or other aspects of our life. And being grateful for all we have helps us maintain a positive attitude in the face of worries and challenges we are facing almost daily. 24. Ideals: ONE STEP AT A TIME Ideals are wonderful things to pursue. But do that gradually. Think, prioritize, plan, and move forward. One step at a time. 25. Christianity: Do we worship demons while watching anime? Okay, here's the story: For years I've been a fan of Japanese Anime, and just love a good action scene of martial arts being displayed. In Japanese Anime the characters usually (or often) draw their power from beast like creatures like foxes, wolves, serpents, snakes, dragons, lions and so on,or from what they call their own 'life force'. A serpent, snake, dragon, lion and wolves are Biblical representations of demons and satan. Knowing that, I can understand many anime characters are demonically influenced (and probably go to hell being possessed, while not receiving christ), but I couldn't care less because they are but anime(meaning not real), and I'm far more interested in the good I can get out of the movie. So you could conclude that the characters in Japanese Anime, often are inspired by demonic power, often bringing some form of destruction, more than healing, through either physical powers, or spiritual powers under the name of 'chakra', 'zen', 'aura', or just 'spiritual energy', or so...... The flip coin is, that I'm also a devout christian, trying to follow Jesus in a pretty liberal way, meaning trying to be free, and not fall into the pattern of rules and regulations. A couple of days ago I saw a presentation, and in the end the guy said "In the end days there will be those who will be 'worshippers' of demons and devils, and will not want to turn away from doing so." ...or something (paraphrased). So, I started to think, though I may be wrong somewhere: 1- What is worshiping devils? Isn't it admiring them? Isn't worship like admiration, adoration, glorification and exaltation? Not only verbally, but also in the heart agreeing of their superiority and splendor? So I noticed of myself that in anime, exactly those scenes where the character starts to have 'determination' (is what they call it), it's able to draw the demonic power, and gain superhuman strength. (and I'm not only talking about DragonBallZ here, but many other anime out there, like Saint Seya, Fist of the North Star (Aka Hokuto no ken), especially Bleach, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, Wolfs Rain, or even the scene's of Initial D, where the driver's been seen with an 'aura'. Exactly those scenes I like or get thrilled by them, as I watch them, because they often go together with some intense special effects or music, to accentuate the scene, meant to be breath taking and exhilarating! Could this also be the worshiping of demons like the guy mentioned, if it is obvious they get their strength from demons? I am fully aware of Matthew 15:11: "not that what comes INTO a man defiles him, but what goes OUT of a man can"(paraphrased)! In other words: there's nothing wrong with viewing the anime, there might be with the part of worshiping (giving admiration, exaltation (often goes with the thought "I wished I could be like that"),and glorification (eg: "Did you see last episode? It was awesome the way that XXXX (eg: Naruto or Ichigo/Bleach) killed that monk!") of some of it's scenes, or even there might be an issue when not physically doing those things, but in one's heart admire them (as Matt 5:28 says: "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.", meaning that one can sin, even if it's only in the heart, and does not appear to come to the surface). So could it be that in the process of watching Anime,man might get tempted to glorify a demonic power (even in his heart)? Certainly a valid point of concern, because if so,I would have been worshiping devils for over 17 years now(about the time I started watching a lot of Japanese Anime)! As I was pondering on this question, another thing took place. I was playing a game called "phantasy star", and it plays back in the far future, where men has developed a tool called a "photon generator" (or something). A 'Photon generator' is seen as a purely (far futuristic) scientific tool, that can emit photons, and thus give the user of it additional energy that can be released as 'fire', 'ice', 'earth', 'light', 'gravity', or 'dark matter'. The 'photon charger' (or whatever they might call it in phantasy star) is in other words, a purely scientific device, that one triggers on or of much like one would trigger a gun or a microwave, and can not be seen as demonically, but operates within the physical laws it supposed to operate into (given that it could exist), and can be seen as a tool. But the end result is about the same: The main character get attacked by evil powers (creatures or humans) he can not overcome with his own power, and calls on either his demon, or the power of his scientific photon device. Since there is no difference between the characters save the one character calls for photon power, and the other calls for demonic aura, and yet I get the same thrill with seeing both men being bestowed with superhuman strength, my question would be: - Is it bad to see anime (Demonically p last sentence got cut off, and is: - Is it bad to see anime (Demonically powered), knowing that it would be ok to see if the demonic power would be replaced by a device like a photon charger (or something)? None really seemed to grasp the core question. Many explain things I don't seem to ask in my question. I'll repeat it here again: "could it be that in the process of watching Anime,man might get tempted to glorify a demonic power (even in his heart)?"; that's my question. Not whatever you would do instead of watching anime,or try to justify anime, that is besides the point. Thank you.

Psychic Healing - Causes of Illness? I am interested in hearing about the concept of "psychic healing". I have heard that many illnesses can be caused by negative energies, or a person's own personal expieriences or attitudes within their daily lifestyle. In other words, illnesses are sometimes more of a "psychic" issue, than a "physical" issue. If anyone can give me any information about psychic healing, then I am interested in hearing it. But the main thing I am looking for is information about how certain parts of the body can relate to a specific spiritual imbalance within a person's life. I had a very strange and kind of scary experience. Does aural cleansing exist? What about spiritual cleansing? First off, I am a very spiritual person and I believe that God has blessed some people with special abilities. I believe 100% in the paranormal. That said, I was approached in a mall by a woman who said I had a black outer aura and that I had a lot of negativity surrounding me. She then went on to discuss things with me that had taken place in my life. I do believe she has abilities and is very much in touch with spirits, auras, energy. She said she was going to meditate for me to find out where the negativity is coming from. She did the meditation and had me meet with her to discuss her discoveries. She asked me to bring a grapefruit. She basically told me that there was so much negativity in my life that she needed to do more meditating to help me heal. She asked me to bring a grapefruit to the meeting. I did, and she then sat me on the floor and started reciting prayers and said that any negativity would manifest itself in the grapefruit. While I sat down, I heard her standing above me and it sounded like she was peeling the grapefruit slowly but I didn't pay any more attention. Then she rubbed it on my back and recited more prayers to pull the negativity from me. Once she was done, she asked me to step on the grapefruit. I stepped on the grapefruit to squash it. She picked it up and showed me a tiny snake (serpent she called) that was inside the grapefruit. Here's where I have a problem. I heard the citrus being pierced while I was on the ground and believe that she put the snake there. I don't believe it just appeared. However, I'm worried that what she did was some kind of spell or curse because I wasn't going to give her money. I'm scared. How do I cleanse myself of this. All I wanted was clarity. Why do gifted people choose to take advantage for money? I understand making a living for survival, but what she asked for was $3,000. This is crazy, and I won't pay it. I just wonder if a curse was put on me. Help! Thank you all for your feedback. I truly appreciate it and feel more at peace. I've been sad and seeking clarity for some time, and I guess I was vulnerable--especially because she knew details about my life that I never shared with her. Sometimes I feel lost in this world like I don't belong and desperately seek answers. Some friends talked to me about reincarnation/past lives and that I may be trying to sort out these old issues and that these feelings can be linked to other lives. Who knows? I am open to the idea. Symbols. Do you agree with my view of them? Symbols are an interesting and a very effective tool for healing, spiritual growth and transformation. They can be seen as "etheric enzymes" in a way as they catalyze specific reactions in the subtle bodies and consciousness. Each symbol has its own specific vibration and by connecting with the symbol we are able to access and align with that specific facet of the Life Force Energy. Symbols are a very personal tool since every person perceives them slightly differently. The tone/energy pattern stays the same but when it gets interpreted through the individual's perception, it can produce many different experiences. The energy can trigger old memories and subconscious associations thus producing a variety of impressions. There is no right way to interpret the energy, as the energy itself has no labels. It's simply a reaction that is to be experienced.

Do we need lables? At this time of year I always reflect on my personal harvest, and with the Full moon so close to the equinox, it seems I have done more thinking on my spiritual path this last week than I have for a good few years. Labels are not always helpful, but they often assist us in identifying those who share similar beliefs. I have considered myself pagan for about 20 years, and about 10 of the years have been spent walking a mainly Druidic path. Or has it? I have always said that Druidry comes closer to who I am than anything else I have so far come across, certainly closer than Wicca, which is where I started out. As I'm sure we all know though, as we walk this path our view changes, as it does when we walk along any path :) and as my interests have grown and developed, so has my way of practising my Druidry. Anyway, as I said at the beginning, I have been evaluating where I am, and to be honest, I'm not sure if Druid still describes who I am, so what would? My main interests are to do with healing, such as herbalism, crystal healing, energy healing such as Reiki, aromatherapy, and many others LOL. I make my own incense, soap, medicines any many other things. I have been looking at what Green/Hedge witchcraft involves, and I am wondering if this is perhaps closer to what and who I am. The silence is a necessity as all speech is feeble and imperfect. The rituals of offerings and sacrifice and other symbolic objects, only mean something to you. God is only interested in your intent, the path of your heart. Look to find your highest happiness and the motive for power to? Our existence. Do not look ill upon those of simplicity or poverty, the goal of ones paths regardless of lifetimes or lifeforms is not the accumulation of wealth, and the enjoyment of luxury. It is to discover your true self. That which is apart from the God that part of your which chooses to leave the comfort and safety of eternity, to fall into the concept of Time. To become a true human being is the practice and constant embracing of your essential self. And, from that place of eternity, your thoughts, actions, and emotions should emanate into the world. Human beings should be vulnerable, open, focused, strong, and flexible. In Our world, the three concerns all of Us must address personally are Self-Worth, Trust, and Expectation. Men must cultivate unconditional love on all levels. The men of our world are too aggressive and full of self-imposed loneliness. How do you call God? Im new to the concept of God, i didnt believe in Him before. When i pray, i dont know how to call him. Because when hearing/saying "God" i can see an old man with white beard who looks like man. But thats not what i believe he is! In the anime Bleach, does Uryuu Ishida get his Quincy powers back? Question for anyone who has changed beliefs.: Do you think different now than when you had other beliefs? I do. I once thought it was okay to pray for someone against their wishes. I never did it to their face or told them I was because if it upset them, I did not want them to know I was praying for them. I now do not pray for or send healing energy unless I have permission. My thinking then was it was okay without their permission because I was serving the one and only God now I believe all paths lead to Diety so it is important to get permission. One time I not only believed in one God but took the bible literally and believed in only one faith and one church. Now I believe all spiritual paths are valid. This question is not limited to former Christians but to Christians also who have changed their beliefs even if it is only a change of denominations. Please answer with respectful and honest answers. I once thought it was my duty to convince others to become as I was because I was serving the one true God, now I believe that my religion is personal and do not talk to others unless they want me to and never to convert anyone. reiki help? i have mixed feelings about it. i have a friend who practices it, and she swears it works, but is it one of those things where it's like "if i believe it works, it works?" is it completely mental? i'm very spiritual, but i have a hard time seeing how a person can infuse energy into someone and heal them.....has anyone performed it or had it performed on them? what's it like? did it work? how does it work?

What do you believe and have faith in? There are many things that I have faith in. I have faith that I will continue to breathe, that my body will continue to work and keep me alive without me thinking about it. I have faith that when I go to sleep that I will wake up in the morning. And I have faith in GOD but not in a GOD taught of in church but a GOD that I can feel within me and all around me, the “all” that is everything. That everything works in harmony because that energy that makes up everything is seeking to evolve and learn. And that pure feeling of love is that energy and I believe that there is only heaven and no hell. I believe in reincarnation because it is just a continuation of the cycle of energy to constantly change. I believe in healing and that we are all connected.
