How can I remember what my Tarot cards mean?
Recently I was digging through some of my old stuff, and out of no where popped my old Tarot deck. So I thought I might start practicing again (when I first got them I gave up because I could never remember the meanings of the spreads or the cards.) Ive got some of the spreads memorized,so does anybody know a way to help me remember what each individual card means? I can still give myself readings, It just means I have to constantly consult the "all-knowing" book that came with the deck. Thanks -Kinoth

- I suggest you but a book or something that tells you the meanings of the cards, and just practice. Soon you'll start remembering what each card means.
- The meaning of tarot cards is not as difficult as you imagine. Just think of it this way: how can a piece of cardboard possibly foretell your destiny? Tarot cards have about as much chance of telling you what is going to happen to you as astrology does. Edit: again to whoever gave this and the answer above a thumbs down - are you really that sad that you actually beleive that these inert peices of card, or rock or some far distant star can tell you how you life will turn out or how your behavior should be...wow seriously you are deluded.
- Three things will help you - practice, practice and more practice. When you look at a card - look at what is happening in it, what are the figures doing, how does the card make you feel etc and then try to relate these things to your question
- You just have to keep working with them. It takes time, what worked best for me was to keep a journal.
- Hello Riley Start to meditate with the individual cards & build a relationships with them. Pam
