What does a Moon Tarot card mean for my relationship with my Mother-In-Law?

I'm having trouble dealing with my g/f's mother. I asked three questions of a tarot deck and understand the answers except for the presence of the Moon card. The question and results are: 1. Should I stay in contact with my g/f's mother or just avoid her - answer was the Moon card 2. If I try to maintain my relationship w/my g'f's mother, what will be the result? answer was the Star card. 3. What will my relationship be like with my g/f in the future? answer was the High Priest/magician. The Moon card confuses me when followed by the Star and High Priest. The Moon card is a sign of doubt, confusion, deception (mother is a realtor), of letting go of emotional baggage (do I not pursue this issue), unrealistic ideas (am I deceiving myself in thinking I can mend our relationship), and fear (I am terrified of her and not sure if I want to stay w/my g-f). But the Star (Hope) and HP (new beginning and skills) confuse me following the Moon card.
