Tarot Cards....What does this mean?
I don't know if it even means anything.....a girlfriend from high school (long time devotee of tarot cards) asked me to randomly pick a card from her deck and show it to her. I picked one, held it up, and she responded 'very interesting, but correct' but didn't elaborate...it was the Queen of Cups. I have no idea what was going on, but now just wondering....do you know?

- ...absolutely nothing!
- It is a form of witchcraft.
- start from here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarot
- Two things: " Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy..."(1Tim.4:1) "There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is death
- It means you are gullible.

- picking a single card like that doesnt mean much. having a full reading done in the celtic cross gives you alot more information. it tells you what obsticles you will face, what the recent past wqas that caused them, and the present sitution all well as the future outcome.
- I wouldnt worry about it...tarot cards are basicly an old superstition perpetuated through the ages and nothing more...their artistry and history is the only thing of intrinsic value there...
- That's a stock answer to the unspoken question.. did this card suit you?
- Believe me, SHE had no idea what was going on either; she was just trying to impress you!
- The tarot are a set of cards displaying allegorical representations originally used as playing cards and later for divination. Most modern tarot decks consist of 78 cards split into two major groups: The major arcana, consisting of 22 trump cards (sometimes referred to as keys): The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess. The Empress, The Emperor, The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Chariot, Strength, The Hermit, Wheel of Fortune, Justice, The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, The Tower, The Star, The Moon, The Sun, Judgement, and The World. The minor arcana, consisting of 56 cards (sometimes referred to as pips): Forty cards in four different suits of ten — traditionally batons or wands, cups, swords, coins or pentacles, and Sixteen court cards of four per suit: the page, knight, queen, and king
- well, the cards are generally very connected to their user, so the Nuance of the "interesting" part, is somewhere between hard and impossible for anyone but your friend to explain. but I'd bet your friend sees you as a giving, bountiful person (in a social way, I don't mean that sexually or anything) would that be correct? edit: >>"having a full reading done in the celtic cross gives you alot more information."<< of course keep in mind that the "appropriate" layout for the person giving the reading, is the most informative.
- Hmmm... I love that card! It depends upon what you were thinking or talking about when you drew it. It can mean that you're a very loving and generous person who is open to love and that you have every right to expect it. It can mean that a woman with similar traits will be entering your life to help you in some way. It can mean that new love and warmth are coming to you. Being that I wasn't there to see what was happening at the time, I can't be much more specific. :-) One card readings are pretty user specific.
- Tarot, the zodiac and religions are three great world frauds.
- It means playing with the devil. Anything that deals with that kind of stuff is evil and I would watch out if I was you.
- Tarot Cards are real. It is not something anyone should just mess around with. These are not toys but very powerful cards that can predict your destiny in life. You can read the future with them but only a highly trained person can do this. I am sure your friend is not highly trained therefore she should not be playing with them. You can destroy someones life by giving them improper information. Also you can mess up your energy and theirs also. If you want to get your Tarot read go to a professional. They can be found at psychic fairs, the net, and sometimes at shops in a city or town. Research the person to make sure they are a real tarot reader.
- I personaly have only used Tarot cards for a short ammount of time, but I would have to say she found it interesting that you would pick a card that she thought described you so well. My suggestion would be to just ask her. If you two are friends I doubt she would mind. In fact, she would probably be very happy that you are so interested.
- I was playing Texas Hold'em Poker with Tarot Cards and I got a full house...... and three people died.
