Is it ok to read yourself well basically reading tarot cards for yourself?

I read myself quick frequently for many things and get accurate results is this ok to to or is it best I go to another person and PAY them to read me which seems pointless.

  1. It's ok to read your own Tarot, but I always think that you read them on the outlook you wish to recieve. Whereas if someone gives you a reading, they can read things that you may not have noticed in a different perspective. Runes are effective as a yes, no result. Maybe you have a friend that could read your Tarot and you return the favour to them?
  2. i do the same dot why pay someone else to read your cards? they are just guidance, so why not? i predict you get some really negative answers though as you have asked in the R&S section-not a good idea lol
  3. I don't go for tarot cards. My belief is that they are not something that my Father in heaven uses to communicate with us. Otherwise, I think paying someone for such a service is absurd. Use your money wisely!!
  4. If you're getting accurate results, great. The only reason I could think of for you to go to another person is to get another point of view. If you're happy doing what you're doing, save your money. :)
  5. the 10 Commandments include the obligation to keep God above all names, so no mundane means to read yourself.
  6. A couple friends of mine are pagan and they say that it's rarely a good idea to do your own reading because you're biased and won't read it as accurately as someone who has no bias in your reading. Don't you have a friend who can do your reading?
  7. Ouija board or tarot cards..... Blindfold the people with the Ouija board and watch what happens. .....mumbo jumbo why can't the Spirits guide the hand to the correct letter now???? Tarot cards, tea leaves, pig pancreas,....lie on your back and watch the clouds form images for all the sense it makes.
  8. You can't do anything wrong, and in this question you are becoming aware of a situation in which you have a need to trust in something other than yourself. We are all co-creators with God, so often this is more about your own lack of faith in both your abilities, and the existance of God. If you had total faith you would be able to never question, but then again you would not be living in this world! You are correct about paying someone, because they are merely picking up on the energy , and anxiety or fear you are projecting, and in addition they are taking your energy in more ways than one, since money is energy {that is why people are drained after being "read"}. Also you have no clue about the readers baggage, or the percentage they guess, and how much is intuitive, and how much is logical deduction. So if it eases your anxiety, go for it, but recognize you are a co-creator, and if you have faith in yourself and in God, you can visualize what you want to happen, asking for "this or better" and it will be so.
  9. I think its brilliant go for It i do it from time to time plus you become more better as you practise.
  10. Hello Yes it is OK to read for yourself, as long as you can remain detached from the outcome then you should get a clear answer. I teach the tarot & actively encourage student to read for themselves. Pam join ~ Practice Tarot. Psychic Development. Clairvoyancy. Hypnotherapy. 11. It's completely up to you. Sometimes you can find a great tarot friend who will trade you a reading for a reading and it can become a great friendship. I have only ever had problems reading for myself when I was asking a question which was very emotional for me to deal with and I was unable to read objectively. It was at these times I chose to swap readings with a fellow tarot reader and this helped me a lot.
