How long did it take u to learn reading Tarot cards wihtout booklets ?

4. I have been reading for years and still use books. Not so much b/c I need to but b/c I may do a reading and want to think more about the cards. To get to a point where you do not have to look at a book all the time, really depends on how quickly you can learn the cards and how often you do them. When I started I got large index cards, and pasted printed out copies of the rider-waite deck cards on each index card with charecteristics of what the card ment on the other side. This really helped me to learn the deck quickly and build a good base to grow on.
