12. There is usually a leaflet in the box of tarot cards. The shop you bought them in should also have books on the subject. Amazon. com would be a likely place to look for books on the internet. However I am sure you will find that as you go on and learn to read people better, watching their facial expressions and general demeanours you will find that you can tailor any old bullshit to fit in with the expectations and or desires of the gullible souls who have come to you to have their cards read. Don't forget to sell them a good luck charm or crystal while you're at it.

16. Many people will tell you that there are lots of esoteric meanings hidden within the tarot; and there are. However, step 1 is memorizing the basic meaning of the cards. So, either use the handy reference book included with most decks or buy a book and put your nose to the grindstone and start memorizing. Once you know the basic meaning of the cards some people say a pattern emerges during the reading and a more intuitive understanding of the cards emerges.
