when having a tarot card reading?

I had a tarot reading and the lady,let me shuffle the frist set but would not let me touch the second set. Dose anyone no why? Thanks

1. You need to attach your energies to the cards is why she had you shuffle them first.
2. Readers all have different little rituals and patterns that they use when giving a reading. I've met diviners who never let a querent touch their tools. I let people touch most of my stuff, but I do keep one tool that is very personal, and I don't *encourage* people to touch it. If I got a very tricky reading with one deck and needed clarity, I might pull out my personal tool for more info. Maybe that's what this reader was doing.
3. Cold reading control. Its to maintain superiority over the subject, or "sucker" as they are known in the business.

5. SOME PEOPLE BELIEVES THAT TOUCHING THE TAROT CARDS IS NEEDED FOR A READING. I USUALLY DON'T DO THAT. HAIL LUCIFER!!
