Major Arcana in a reading...?
I received a Tarot reading, celtic spread. Seven of my cards were Major Arcana cards. Is this significant? What does it mean?

- hi, I practice astrology, successfully, so I know to read tarot cards. Listen, major arcana cards depict the major events while the minor arcana cards depict the minor issues. But actually u can say that the minor arcana cards tell u the minute details while major arc. cards tell u only the major events. It is indeed extr. important to have 7 ma.arc. cards in a spread but it is also important to know the nature of the cards. The position of the cards is also imp & ur question is also imp. only then can a conclusion be drawn. U can go for a free detailed TAROT READING by posting a request in the comments section of "TAROT FORECAST OF THE WEEK...." on www.smartyoungsters.blogspot.com
- This simply means that there are significant issues in your life that need to be attended to. These 22 cards represent the 22 major challenges one will face throughout their life. The cards work from beginning to end in that the first card (The Fool) signifies the initial push or motivation to start something new, whereas the last card (The World) represents a conclusion or a completion of a current circle or cycle of life. The 22 cards of the major arcana are the heart of the deck. Each of these cards symbolizes some universal aspect of human experience. They represent the archetypes - consistent, directing patterns of influence that are an inherent part of human nature. The major arcana cards are special because they draw out deep and complex reactions. A major arcana card is always given extra weight in a reading. When one of these cards appears, you know the issues at stake are not mundane or temporary. They represent your most basic concerns - your major feelings and motivations. - It depends upon the specific card, but the Major Arcana usually signifies a person or major life event, and is typically important in a Spread.
- Hello A predominance of the Major Arcana shows that less of the control is actually in your hands, but more in the hands of others or 'fate'. Pam
