Major Arcana (The moon)?

Now personally I have a very tricky time interpretating this card but I have come to the conclusion it basically means you’re "Under a spell" from someone you know your more emotional more receptive these are all the signs…………..What’s your interpretations of this card?

  1. here are a few interpretations: 1. The Energy: Illusion, Confusion, Restlessness The Moon exerts its' mutable power with force on nature and mankind. Emotions drift like the tide with the phases of the moon. The Moon is never explaining, remains unclear and distorts reality. You should not decide in a hurry. If the power of The Moon reigns vague ideas displace clear thoughts. Study your dreams and secret wishes. The Moon often reveals tendencies of the unconscious. 2. In The Moon card, the lobster coming out of the water represents something of significance emerging from our subconscious, like messages from dreams. The moon creates shadows and illusions, stimulating our imagination and intuition. 3. http://www.divinationcounselingservice.org/tarot-moon.htm (too long to paste)
  2. The moon to me means.Changes that you don't see coming.Or you don't suspect something
  3. The moon in the Tarot deck represents the unconscious and what is hidden or convoluted (unclear and questionable). When it comes up in a spread, it is a warning that things aren't as straightforward, honest, or clear as they should be and that caution should be taken. It can, depending on the reading, also be interpreted in a way similar to the High Priestess in that it denotes inner, mystical wisdom that differs from intellectual linear thought.
  4. Whatever the card means to you, your impressions of the card, is the meaning of the card. Everyone is going to read things a little differently in their spreads, you must trust your interpretations. For me, the moon is my card - the one card I identify with more than any other and for me, it represents change/changeability, other forces at work, loss of control (not necessarily a bad thing), the unexplainable, dreams, and occurences at night. For me it is also an indicator of time depending on where it is in the spread and sometimes I interpret it as "This is a phase, it will pass." These are all things I get from the card that other readers will differ on. Use your instincts and trust your judgements.
  5. Indicates light and shadows, confusion and the depths.
  6. For me it's about emotions and that I am about to be out of control of mine and I take it as a warning sign.

  8. no as the moon is a symbol of female and full of waxing and waning and echos the rhythms of life you have to interpret as it comes .... it also a power full symbol of hope
  9. the moon is a cookie, and its good enough for me.
  10. the moon relates to inner fears and the darker side of nature depends if you drew it right side up or reversed.
  11. The Moon governs the subconscious or the unseen realms. This means the cycles it produces are related to the mind and the areas of our life which we give less light to or tend to cloak. As the Sun is about conscious growth, so the Moon is about subconscious growth. The journey is less exposed to the waking world. It is more difficult to understand because it is an internal one, delving into the darker areas of the soul and emotions. Yet exploring the murkier world is as relevent as knowing the illuminated world. It holds no more fear either, other than those shadows you create yourself. It does require some faith though, because you are dealing with a magnetic force that can control an Ocean. It can also dictate the bodily reproductive cycles, which after a period of gestation can produce new life.
  12. Selene. Sweet Selene.
  13. I agree because the moon can make people act irreverently especially at night when we uncover our emotions which are governed by the moon. The word Lunatic comes from the word Luna. I agree with under a spell the woman that stays with her man but knows has not right for her what’s keeping her there in that situation for the “sake of the kids” as so on the sill water in the moon card mean the stillness of emotions stagnant emotions not being able to move from ones subconscious but will to stay in that state.
  14. Trial by fear, a passage through a dark time like some kind of initiation rite. Dreams and illusion. Also if you get it about a person, it means they are lying to you.
