3 Card Tarot Spread?

Today, I did a daily 3 card spread and I had all three Major Arcana cards: Moon, Tower, Lovers (in that order; universal deck). I would like some further analysis from a neutral third party...What do you guys think?? Thanks!!

Public Comments

  1. moon-crisis of faith , indecision disillusionment , perspective, solitude. tower-change , speed and insight lovers-maturity , choice , growth , love but i need to know if they were upside down or not
  2. 3 card spread is typically Past, Present and Future... I would read your cards like this: Past = Moon - Illusion, Imagination, Fears Present = Tower - Sudden Change, Release Future = Lovers - Relationship, Sexuality, Values Seeing that I don't know you personally, I can only go by my first impressions of the cards... I would say that you had either a bad relationship in the past that has made you shy of getting hurt again but yet you still long for that "match made in heaven" You have dreamed of having a perfect partner and romance. Now, in the present, you are building your foundations up and making changes for the better in your life...everything you will need for a good strong future. You have or will have a major changed to your life soon....that could be a new job, going back to school...starting something big that will impact your future and set you firmly on your path. The future shows a good loving relationship, something that matches with your values and is in tune with who you are physically, mentally and emotionally. It could be someone you really don't expect that you already know, or a total stranger...but keep in mind that someone or some thing will become very very close to you and impact your life in a big way. The lovers card is never subtle. Well I hope this helps:) Let us know how it turns out :D
  3. The interpretation of 3 cards does not occur in a vacuum. What was the context in your mind when you layed them out? You have different areas of your life, concerns, things going on and knowing the context in which you pulled 3 cards would be very helpful, almost totally necessary to be relevant. Being able to interpret the meaning of Moon, Tower, and Lovers (in that order) would greatly depend on the issue and deliberations you are experiencing. Without knowing that, all that be given are traditional, historical and i hate to say it, but "typical" references. Having said that, i can tell you that you have Pisces (neptune) involved in this reading, as well as other 12th House energies. You have mars in this too, and, of course, the Moon is connected to cups. There is a sense of preparation for something new and something hidden from awareness. There is also a sense, in the Moon card (esp. when combined with the Tower imagery), that something is leaving or departing (such as "the past"), and something new is approaching (i.e., "the future".) Now, when the past is in the past where it belongs and when it's not in the future as a predictability, you can be receptive to it. On the other hand, if the past is in your future and you're living into a repetition, then perhaps you're seeing the tumultuous energy in the Tower, something like force. This implies there may be some resistance on your part to change and transformation. Generally, this card (The Moon) can indicate something in your past that is completed, some emotional maturity has been acquired, life is occuring from a space within you and you are beginning to create a new future for yourself and others. When you consider the Lovers card in context with the Tower, esp after what I've just written, you can get a sense of a natural process of division, or when ONE becomes TWO, two lovers, heaven and earth, however you want to think of it. There are all sorts of imagery coming to mind: spring, harvest, planting, division, the sun, the moon, the future. It is up to you, without knowing the context of your 3 card lay out, what it all means and how it fits together. Finally, let me add that you are approaching, or you are actually in right now, a time of abundance or prosperity of some sort. Be willing to risk dangerous undertakings. No material is unproductive. Attend to details current, and do not neglect what is distant. Avoid the dominance of cliques and factionalism (this could be represented by the Tower). Do not forget that hidden danger sometimes lurks in any time of peace.
