How do you feel about tarot card readings?

1. Not a good thing... it is witch craft and witch craft is of the devil...
2. The above answer is correct, but also it is mythology. It is fake--not real. It is just a bunch of cards.
3. My girlfriend used to do them. I think it's a load of hooey. People say they are accurate, but only because the cards, descriptions and fortunes are so broad.
4. I read the tarot quite a bit. As long as I am in tune with what I want to know, I get accurate answers. I've been reading the tarot for a very long time, and it takes someone who has studied them thoroughly to be able to interpret them accurately. It's so funny how people say this is devil worship. I'm wiccan, and definately don't worship the devil! That is not what wicca is about. However, I'll leave you with this. I don't step on the toes of Christians, Jews, or any other religion. We are what we are, and that is what makes everyone individually unique. Blessed Be! :)

7. Witch craft is not of the devil. that is dogma taught by the church. Jesus was not even considered divine by the Catholic church until 400 years after he died. Its a fact. to be a witch means to be a wise woman. a witch mentioned in the Bible who King Saul went to see, was not really a witch, she was an occultist, and had a familiar spirit or demon. Also the pentagram and pentacle are not symbol of demonics either, they were bastardized by the church as satanics, and even Satan worshippers use them now. They are sacred and used for good. 5000 natural healers (women) were burned at the stake during the inquisition because the catholic wanted, and still wants the patent on religion and they could only have that by claiming Christ was divine and everybody else was false. so they created these lies about witchcraft and astrology. That's why Native people practice their cerimonys at night, so as to hide from the church. what does the church say? Oh! your devil worshipers cause you worship at night. No! we had too, to keep our ways. we pray to god too. Anyway, It is a proven fact that the jewish faith at one time had a pantheon of gods and godesses, and used astrology. a temple was found just two years ago with a giant wheel of astrology on the floor in colored tiles. remember Christianity teaches faith, but don't forget that faith is a deadly sin when it becomes blind careless trust. using the tarot is a blessing because it can guide us to healing our psyche, and that of others. And increase our divine gift of spiritual power called telepathy, empathy, etc. that have been choked since Atlantis sank. It is not a tool of the devil.
8. The cards are a distraction for what the "reader" is actually up to. If they didn't have a device most people would have the good sense to run. Next time someone tries reading them for you, tell them you want to cover the cards and all that's said and done with the blood of Jesus. Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
9. They can be a good guide to let you know how you feel about a subject. When you do a reading the way you interpret the cards shows you what you're thinking and feeling and hoping for, or what you're afraid might happen. They help you tap into the deeper "you"-- something organized orthodox religion tries very hard to prevent ;)
10. Funny, Funny, Funny!!! My ex-ex-ex-ex pretend friend gave me a deck and I was so good at BS'ing that she still believes to this day that she's ment to marry a guy who workes for Waste Management!!! Oh, I'm bad ... I just couldn't resist. Before we severed our friendship <a long long long time ago>, I tried to tell her I was BS'ing, but she didn't believe me. Last I heard, she's still hanging out at the dumps.
11. They are cool! I've had fortune telling cards (both tarot and other kinds) for a long time. My Aunt (the devout catholic) gave them to me as a present. A wonderful, CLOSE friend of mine is actually building me a program froms scratch to help with the readings.
