Mystical Angels

Does anyone know any sites where you can list tarot cards picked and get an interpretation back?

I'm just starting to try to read tarot cards but would appreciate another take on the cards and am trying to find any sites that might be able to do this? Any suggestions...

  1. why don't you ask about it here??? Is there any 1 card you want alternative meanings for? I learned how to read the cards, I bought books, '78 degrees of wisdom' is very good, and so is 'the mythic tarot'. I can't remember who wrote them. Why don't you start by picking 3 cards, see what you make of them yourself, and then ask here for other interpretations
  2. Check out the tarot on google. Then check out any Spiritualism centres on google. There is usually someone who can help with the Tarot in Spiritualism.
  3. If you are using Tarot cards as an oracle, you may be more inclined to read card meanings and spreads. But if using Tarot Cards as a tool for Psychic Ability you would be less likely to hold to any hard and fast guide lines. I’m a profession psychic and use Tarot Cards in a random way. In 25 years of professional readings I’ve never used any ‘meanings, spreads or reversals’ of tarot cards from any books. So if you want to develop ‘Psychic Ability’ throw the books and guidelines away and let the images inspire you. But you may need to try the Rider Waite or another imaged deck. I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense. To tap in to it more you can go to my free develop-psychic-ability page here: http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-psychic-ability.html But on the other hand, if you want to use the Tarot as an oracle, a form of divination that needs no real ‘psychic ability’, then keep the books and use the meanings and spreads if you prefer. Here is a free download demo for a great Tarot program. To keep the size of the demo manageable it contains the Rider/Waite deck, the actual program will have 10 complete decks. This Demo version of Tarot is a full working copy for 30 days. So you get 30 days to study meanings and spreads! http://www.free-tarot-download-demo.wotsnext.com You can use this four minute video as a brief meditation on the tarot that, repeatedly viewed, will help you learn how to read tarot cards psychically. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/tarotvision.html
  4. i dont know if this is the answer but msn are really goo for that sort of thing and so are excite.
  5. If you want a generic canned answer that may, or may not, match up with what you are looking at, then fine. Go google Tarot Cards and see what comes back. But reading tarot cards is more inspiration than it is interpreting the meaning of the cards. The cards are tools, giving you a visual on a situation that you draw from your own inner being. If you are reading for another, it touches on the Psyche, channels from your spirit guide and is a road map - you have to apply it to the journey. That is why people actually study the decks, learn what the cards are signifying and then learn to tune themselves to the cards and to themselves for personal readings. Then you learn to tune to others to do public readings. The books are out there, choose a deck that comes with a book so you can learn what the artist was trying to convey in his/her artwork. That is the basics. Then, close the book, look at the cards, and see what they are telling you. A good reader combines both. Otherwise, if a canned answer is what you want, there are lots of sites that have meanings of cards. It will become confusing, and probably frustrating. Go with what the cards speak to you.
  6. In my eyes Aecletic Tarot is the best site on the net for Tarot. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/ See online images of Tarot cards from hundreds of decks, read reviews of Tarot decks and books, learn more about Tarot and the card meanings (http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/learn/), send Tarot postcards, and join AT's active Tarot community. The Aecletic Tarot forum is an awesome place to learn about Tarot and share your ideas and knowledge. http://www.tarotforum.net The AT forum is a busy and active community with over 7000 members (Tarot students, collectors, readers and enthusiasts) and there are hundreds of posts every day. You can also upgrade your free membership and become a subscriber to access extra features and benefits. One area in the forum is titled "Your Readings" and it is a great area to explore. You can post your spreads and your own interpretations and ask for advice, tips, etc. Often you'll have several people offering help and feedback. However, keep in mind that AT considers the Forum a learning environment. Therefore, they frown upon using this forum for simply posting the cards because that will be interpreted as asking for a free reading. This is a no-no that may result in your thread being deleted. In turn, you can also help out others by posting your take on another poster's spread and card interpretations. There is also a section for reading exchanges and I love the Tarot Talk section as well as the ones dedicated to Tarot decks and Tarot spreads.
  7. I'd be more than willing to give you some of the different meanings for the cards if you'd like to email me. I do find though that the best readings are the ones where you throw the book away and just let the cards speak. Use and trust your intuition as much as possible. A good way to try this is to deal out say 12 or so cards and then make them into a story using what each of the pictures tell you. You can also try meditating with them invidually to get a better connection with them.
