yes, IT IS CRAP! What they hire a personal psychic everytime they need to write one? i dont believe in em and i dont read them.
What's up ARCH? I think all Horoscopes are a waste of time.
horoscopes are written to be applyed to a large amount of people. my mum used to work for magazines, and this astrologer dropped all his papers and messed up and said don't worry we'll just mess them around and put them in any way. i don't believe the future can be told. maybe the "mood" of the future, maybe how we feel today. But because they're written to apply to anyone, they can apply to anyone. And lol, the ones that give detail are terrible (websites and generated zodiacs are a scam). "You'll be on the look for a new partner, financial success, and a better sexual experience with your partner" - wt hell does this mean? I haven't even got a partner, I haven't got any finance, I'm not even looking for a partner right now (I think, i'm one of those that doesn't want to get hurt so biding my time). Although astrology can tell many things, it can't tell what's in the world - the people, it's events, its actions and environments. Those change who we are and how we live today and tomorrow. Love conquers all boundaries. Love is everything. The future is not to follow. The future is to create. We create our own path. We live for today, and look for tomorrow.

i wouldn't suggest using yahoo daily horoscopes. astro.com is way better and so accurate. they're more in detail and go by your birthday, time, and place.

I love lencow's answer. I think horoscopes are way too general to really be anything other than entertainment. Sometimes a prediction might fit because there are general aspect indications for each sign, and these might 'hit home' on certain persons. True astrology is much different from horoscopes because it takes an entire chart into consideration, including the houses and planetary aspects. PS: Don't leave that friend hanging!
Yessir, Archy :] People just make them up :D Thay are crapp. I'm one of them- I write horoscopes for my school newspaper! lol People love them though! All they know is horoscopes, they have no idea about 'Astrology' though. & now they all think I'm psychic because I can 'guess what month they are born it'. ahaha. But really I just can TELL what they're signs are. So I startle them :] lol I also remember birthdays when ever I find them out :]
Yahoo horoscopes are the worst and most non-specific horoscopes to read. Half the time, none of it applies to me and the other half of the time, it applies to everyone. They actually get their horoscopes from astrology.com. I don't know. Maybe they actually apply to some people but I do better at predicting my own day. about me, i don't believe in horoscope but to be honest with you, i read sometimes from yahoo daily horoscope and sometimes they put somethings ridiculous and silly , so i think that you need just to read it but not believe it. if you visit different horoscope website you well read different horoscopes about your sign today , because this reason i don't believe in horoscope , i just like to read it as entertainment.
I don't believe in daily horoscopes. Astrology is more on a personal basis and more precise and less generalized. I agree that it's generalized. Libra

I agree with you- Sometimes Rick Levines are pretty accurate--but really just more specific if there is a transition going on--he'll more accurately tell YOU how it will affect you.
Newspaper or yahoo horoscopes are most often based on someone with same sun and rising sign. They can bit more accurate if instead of just reading your Sun sign you also read the horoscopes for your moon and rising sign.
