- I believe so; it has helped my son. Of course, I have no empirical data to back that up, just personal experience.
- If it is mixed with Faith and believe.
- Yes it does, but you have to believe!
- Yes it does work. When you pray for healing and if it is God's will then the person will be healed. I have seen it happen many times. But there is falseness out there also. Make sure it is of God.
- Not in a double blind experiment. It works a lot in shops selling candles, incense and tarot cards though.
- Probably can't hurt, but see a physician as well.
- James 5:15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. In the miracles of Jesus and His disciples when it comes to healing the sick, blind, deaf.... the faith of the person has healed him. Without faith, it would be impossible to receive healing.
- Yes it can work only if you believe it would happen. But if you start doubting, chances are its not going to work. My grandfather used to say that "If you're going to worry about it, then don't bother praying, but if you're going to pray, don't bother worrying."
- Wow, A sensible positive question. Thank you for that. Yes I believe Spiritual Healing does work. It has worked on my children in the past, when they were younger. It has also worked on myself, when others have known I was sick and sent energy thoughts to me. I always send "light" to my grandchildren when they are sick and they say to their parents. "Grandma was sending me love, I could feel it." I wish more "Spiritual" people would come on this site and assist other positive people in having a voice as to what they believe. There are so many unhappy, angry, prejudicial, judge mental souls. Some are so obsessed with the fact that they know they are right and everybody else is wrong, that they type (or copy) so much that one has to scroll down, scroll down etc. etc. Somehow, I feel that negativity has the louder voice, with just a few "lights" coming in here and there. Maybe we should try Spiritual healing on R & S. That could be a good idea, right? No, I don't suppose so, but I will keep on trying to heal in other ways.
- Depends on the purity of soul
- It did in my case, I'm a cancer survivor. I was given a 50/50 chance of survivial and a chance if I did survive, I wouldn't be able to ever talk again, due to all the radiation treatments. I'm still here and I can talk. I can't offer no proof, other than my testimony.
- There have been several studies to find any connection between praying and faith healing. Sorry but absolutely no empirical proof has ever been shown that spiritual healing does anything at all. Not even the placebo effect you'd expect to find.
- Yes,read my article on www.howtodothings.com/user/Tonny18 prayer and may God bless you
- I've heard it does. I believe that positive energy begets positive energy.
- Yes it does. Jesus said we could do just everything He did with a little bit of Faith. With Faith, we can do anything, even perform miracles. You have to pray with Faith, believing it is going to work, with no doubt about it. Faith is Trust. You trust God, Jesus or whoever you choose to. Faith is also the power of our mind to bring to us whatever we want, need and desire. Use the power of your mind positively and you will get only positive things in your life in return. Prayer is also energy that flows from us and goes wherever we send it. However, if your prayers can't heal despite all the Faith and effort from your part, it is because the illness is part of the person's karma. In this case, he/she needs to go through the karma and nothing can change that, UNLESS the person changes his/her attitude by him/herself. Sometimes diseases and misfortunes are part of the teaching we have to receive. If we learn the lesson, we are dismissed of the suffering, but if we don't learn the lesson, we have to go through pain whatsoever. Even in this case, your prayer is useful, because it is energy in form of comfort and strength. Prayer is never in vain! Peace!
