will god answer my prayer?will he have mercy on me?
This may be too long but i just need to know what ya'll think. The thing is,i have a stuttering problem since childhood. And im praying day and night(crying out to god)asking him to heal this stuttering problem of mine,to have mercy on me and i have total faith in him that he will answer my prayers.Soon in my school im going to have a speech class that everyone is suppose to have in order to graduate. And im soo scared cuz i dont know how i will be able to talk in front of public since i get nervous really fast.Let me tell ya'll,once this paster came to my house and suprisingly he knew EVERYTHING ABOUT ME.He knew i stutter,he knew about my life, and more.So he asked me to read the bible. After that he held me and told me that"i know everything about you"and he told me too.I was shocked and asked him how he knew so much about me,and he told me that its these spiritual feelings he had.So i know since that day that my god is watching me.But will god answer my prayers?will he have mercy on me?? One more thing,i tried to do fasting so many times but whenever i try to,something happens that errupts my fasting so i feel god doesnt wants me to do fasting??

- Yes God will certainly answer your call, but will you answer His call? The Guy who claimes he knows all about your life is a fraud. But God will certainly answer you and give you better than what you ask for
- No. God will not answer your prayers because there is no God. If you want help then you will have to find it on your own.
- You might want to try making a Call to a speech therapist, I hear God blesses those who bless themselves. Or God Blesses speech therapists, something like that.
- You are being scammed. Undoubtely your troubles are known to many. For a god to help you, one would have to exist, and there is not the slightest reason to suppose that one does. As for your stuttering, you can address this; write a speech, and practice delivering it to your back yard, and keep practicing until you get it right. If your delivery improves with each reading, you are making progress. This will build the self-confidence that you wll need to survive the class.
- God will give you everything you need but not everything you want. You have been challenged to rise above this and now it is up to you. God will be right there with you. I know a man who stuttered so bad as a kid that he couldn't talk. Now he speaks normally.
- May be you should call up on a good phycologist and a voice therapist and pray to dear God to make them good enough to cure you?
- God always answers prayers, but the answer isn't always the one we want. He may say no to your prayer about not stuttering, or your stuttering may have a purpose that you do not yet know. That being said, God frequently uses other human beings to help us. Have you ever spoken to the speech pathologist in your school?
- He will not answer your prayers, there is no god. However you can answer your own prayers by making yourself try to control your stuttering problem. You can do it if you believe in yourself.
- God will answer your prayers as long as you are faithful to him. Did you know that Moses in the old testament had a stuttered and God still used him to set his people free. Dont let your stuttering discourage , because in the eyes of God your still perfect. Have faith my child! Even if your stuttering doesnt stop know that God is Able.
- Look, if you believe in God, fine. But be smart and get professional help for your speech problem. There's nothing wrong with your brain, right? God helps those who help themselves and all that? Consider also that if you're in motion trying to help yourself, God has a lot more material to work with that's understandable to you than if you're an inert lump. Either way, your chances of improving your problem are increased. The guy you refer to, by the way, sounds creepy, like a predator preying on your vulnerability. Lose him -- fast.
- Prayer does not work...please read this study... http://www.dimaggio.org/Eye-Openers/prayer_does_not_work.htm I don't know why with this kind of proof that people still think it works.
- Matthew 12:21-22 says "So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 7:7 says Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. I will also tell you my personal story. When I was young, I was so shy. In first grade I was sent to speech therapy because my teacher could not understand me...I had a strong Texas accent. I had many friends but in middle school I was petrified of speaking in public. I had speech class in 7th grade that stressed me out so badly...I was terrified. When I was in high school, I was asked twice to speak in front of my church...that is more than 500 people! Both times, I dreaded it, I was sickly nerveous...but God had a plan. No days, I teach classes for adult learners (corporate trainer) and I write and teach for churches. I have spoken in churches and prayed in front of churches. Now it doesn't stress me out at all. God will answer your prayers. The Bible says when we are weak He is strong.
- God never gives you a challenge that you can't overcome. Being afraid to speak in public is something that I still have a problem with. There's just something about all those people listening to me that makes me nervous. (lol.) in addition to your unshakable faith in God, there are other things you can do to alleviate your stuttering. Always speak calmly and concisely, and think about what you want to say first. :) I hope this helps.
- God answers our prayers by giving us Angels on earth to help us. He works through others and will give us peace and strength to overcome any of our troubles. I come from a family of stutterers who all got help from the nonprofit Stuttering Foundation now found on the internet at www.stutteringhelp.org. Their book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" was a big help. Finding a speech therapist who specialized in treating stuttering was helpful to an uncle. Getting brochures of The Stuttering Foundation's about things we could do at home, tips for talking on the phone, and some that we could give to teachers and employers so they would know how to help us were all wonderful resources. One thing to remember is that the harder you try not to stutter, the more you will. Practice your speech out loud in front of a mirror or with a close friend. When you give it, don't look directly at your audience, rather look just over their heads at a spot on the back wall. Concentrate on what you are saying and think of saying it to someone you are comfortable talking with. Whatever response there is from your audience is their thing; what you get out of it is doing the best job you can with no concern for how anyone else thinks. May God bless you and give you peace as you do your speech.
