How to stop Psychic ability?

I have a weird ability to hear dead people voices, and see vision that they want me to see, and feel what they feel. When I was very young I could see them too and lived in a haunted house which wasn't very fun. But I've been trying to shut this off, and make it go away. I want to know if there a very effective way to stop it or at least to were it affect me a little. Please no 'smart remarks' I'm very serous about this, and no 'why would i want to get ride of it' remarks cause trust me it not glamorous and it's not what Hollywood makes it out to be, trust me. No it's not a mental thing, I've done reading for people and correctly Identify dead relative, events, and even correctly describe their last moments to people that was there when their loved one died. Thank you for your prayers my Pastor is working with me right now to figure out if this is a Demonic gift or a God sent gift, he believed me when I correctly identify his dad and how he was such an angry person, and one of his brother telling him how proud he was of him. I didn't know his family history till after the reading, and I can't control when I do readings.

You sound like a classic case of schizophrenia to me. Go to a psychiatrist and they'll give you some meds to clear that right up.
You have watched the movie "The Sixth Sense" too many times?
Many people who have the same problems as you have experianced relief by using anti-schizophrenic drugs. You might want to consider asking your doctor about it.
You should rent the movie, "A Beautiful Mind" with Russel Crowe, a true story. It's kind of disturbing but I think it would interest you.
Drinking bleach would stop it for sure. It cleanses out all the Psychic cells.

First thing is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, making Jesus Lord of your life. Be water baptized. Be baptized in the Holy Spirit. After that begin to pray to Jesus daily, consistently. Study the bible. Go to church every time the doors are open. Chat with Christians on Christian websites, they can answer your questions and help you to grow. Focus on Jesus in your prayers. Keep your heart open to Jesus at all times. Get involved in the church activities. If you can, leave the place where you live now. Move to someplace else, preferably with at least one roommate. Those spirits work on people the most when they're alone so limit your alone time as much as you can; except for prayer time and showering, things you must be alone about. Get rid of any and all known sin in your life. Sin opens the door for satan and his demons. Drop all sin out of your life and the people if any, that you sin with. Email if you need to.

Jesus died for you and God is protecting you if you will let Him. Satan is the father of lies. You are seeing, hearing, and feeling tricks of the devil, not dead people. Believe me-- the souls are in either Heaven or hell, not still walking the earth. I'll be praying for you. The Lord loves you and wants to save you from this. It says so in his Word. Trust in Him. After all, He made creation and everything in it. He can rid you of this =] Again, I'm praying for you. Please don't take it in a way like "Oh, that's really weird... some weird Christian is praying for me". Just know that I care and I pray God will lead you to Him. Seriously? You're not pulling my leg? Because I find this very interesting. If the voices are bothering you then I would certainly seek help from a Doctor and Man of God, Bishop, Pastor, Minister...... If what you're experiencing is for real then don't let the people pass you off as saying, You're crazy, What you're saying is not real. Research it and seriously talk to someone who can offer profesional help.
On Wednesday, on Montel Williams, a lady named Sylvia Brown who claims to be a psyhic, says the same thing you do. Lots of people follow her ... other people are skeptics. She has a web-site. I have heard her say the same things you have said. You might consider contacting her to ask how to get rid of it. Also - you could talk to a priest for help. Pray a lot - for it to leave you.

Its a positive gift(God) even though it doesn't always feel like it. I believe your gift is meant to be shared to help others. I'm sure your concern is people thinking you are involved in the occult. It is a god-given-gift that you should use. You need to do some soul- searching within yourself and not be ashamed or afraid of yourself. Also there is no shame in financial gain resulting from assisting and helping others
Hey, First off, you are more of a Medium than a Psychic from what you described. And like lala, And I'm gona have to say it... Why would you want to stop this? I've started "knowing" stuff over the last few months.... small things, but i would love to be able to help others with such a wonderful gift! I have a friend who is a Medium.... she just tells them to go away and they do (most of the time). She also has no interest in doing it. And when she is caught, it gives those who do genuinely have the gift a bad name and makes the public not believe in it. Why do others have to put people down who have these gifts? Are they scared?
