Psychic/Fortune Teller?

Okay, Let me begin by saying that I have felt crazy for the past few days. Anyway—As far back as I can remember it seems like I’ve always had bad luck. I really don’t know if this is true for everyone, or if I’m one of the extreme cases. I’ve always felt as if something was holding me back, preventing me from thinking. My mother passed away merely 3 years ago, unexpectedly, no one really knows what happened, other than one day she went missing, and 6 months later her body shows up in a river 70 miles west of where she was last seen. So, I was shopping yesterday, feeling very vulnerable, and I noticed this sign for a fortune teller near the mall where I was (Huntington, WV) So I go in and get a reading. Please excuse me if I’m not using the correct verbiage that she did, but I hope someone can understand what this lady told me—she told me I’d have a long life, money and what not. She also said that I have a demon inside me.. She said I was an old soul, and good hearted, but the demon wont let me rest. She said for 225.00 she could do a spiritual cleanse and free me of the demon. She mentioned that I always have bad luck—which seems to be true, but who doesn’t, ya know? She claimed to have spoke w/ my mother, she said my mother died of an injury to the head. Anyway, what exactly does a spiritual cleanse consist of? She said that one was not enough for me, that I would need 3—they’re 75.00 each.

  1. Don't believe it. I had a similar experience ten years ago with a completely insane psychic. I never went back to her. She wants your money, nothing else.
  2. I think she got lucky guessing that you've had a lot of trouble in your life. Actually, we've ALL had trouble in our lives so that was a pretty safe thing for her to say. Keep your money!! She's just trying to scam you. Any spiritual cleansing you need can be done by YOU. You have to take responsibility for your life and decisions, as well as your attitude toward things. Don't fall for someone like this who is only out to take advantage of you because she seems to know something about you. She doesn't.
  3. You are listing to the devils words and letting him take your hard earned money,God will cleanse you for free and everlasting.
  4. So, con people are trying to get money out of gullible, vulnerable folk. That's not really news. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DEMONS. No ghosts. No gods. This is the 21st century, not the 12th. Why not enjoy the benefits of what we have learned in the meantime?
  5. Anyone using this technique for more money is not ethical, reliable, or even a good psychic. We have tools of our OWN consciousness and we are the only one who can change or otherwise affect ourselves. Why would anyone give that much power away to someone - especially a cheap, coniving psychic? 6. First off: Anyone who charges is a fraud. I live strongly by that point. Saying you're an 'old soul' and 'good hearted' are things people naturally want to hear. The 'bad luck' is cheering on the want to be a martyr in everyone. I'm sorry, dearest. You've been scammed. Don't bother with the 'cleansings'. I doubt she knows how to do them properly anyway. If you feel like something is REALLY messed up, light a blue or green (some people say blue, some say green. I agree with the blue-but whichever one calls to you) candle, some sage incense, and take a lightly salted bath. Picture all the bad luck and "demonic spirit" (which is probably just bad karma from a past life or someone influencing you badly) ebbing away from you. Visualization is everything.
  7. Oh good grief. Well, consider how long it would take. Most counsellors charge about $100 an hour. I'm not even sure they are worth it, but compare it to that. If it works out more, all things considered, than $100 per hour, then you're being totally ripped off. Otherwise you're only being partially ripped off, because although exorcisms are total snake oil, at least you're getting the attention. There is nothing instinsically unethical about charging for her time, she is giving you something, even if it's only company. Seriously. But...caveat emptor. Makes no sense. I do $5 palm readings and I can't sell them.
  8. I will do it for an even $200. What a spiritual cleansing from a psychic consists of is: 1. find someone gullible enough to go to a psychic. 2. present the same "fortune" as you tell everyone, since it will fit with 99% of people. 3. if they happen to believe you, come up with some ritual you can convince them they need, and charge them money for it.
  9. babycakes, that is the oldest scam in the book.
  10. Hello Sounds like she is no considering your interests but rather her own. There are no demons & nothing needs cleansing. Luck is a state of mind - change your mind - think positive! Pam psychic
