Do you believe what chinese fortune tellers say?

Public Comments

  1. No. Fotune tellers can shake you up a bit, if they're good, but I don't believe in them at all. They're just there for money.
  2. Why not. They have to make a living like everyone else I guess. Better than doing laundry for sure.
  3. The Chinese use many forms of divination such as runes, I-Ching, and tarot readings. All readings should be taken with a light heart as you should know that not all readings come to pass. The best thing to believe in is yourself because you control your own destiny. Chinese fortune tellers are fun for entertainment; however not all are pinpoint accurate. The best way to find out if what they say is true is to take notes during one of their readings and follow up on the events as they are supposed to occur. I treat them the same as a typical psyhic reading. I have learned through hundreds of readings that maybe 5% of what you hear will come to pass and the rest of the information is there to provide positive/negative reinforcement. Some readers are much more gifted than others, but they are few and far between. You will know when your are in the presence of a gifted reader or fortune teller because your sixth sense will kick in providing you with the guidance you seek.
  4. If you want to learn about the subject without having to sort through a lot of anonymous answers by strangers, about whom you know nothing, including whether they know anything, there's a way to learn. The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library.
