Mystical Angels

How many of you wish to have a fantasy/mystical adventure?

Adventures like 'Lord of the Rings', 'Harry Potter', 'Chronicles of Narnia' where all kinds of creatures and beasts exist, like beautiful elven people, minotaurs, phoenix, huge vicious ogres, witches, wizards etc. How many have even thought up of their own fantasy creatures, whether good or evil kinds. Talk about it. You couldn't get that? lol. To Yabadabadoo: I'm not a big gaming person but I googled to check out what you've recommended. It looks awesome! Very interesting! Maybe I will buy it. To Alex: Reality's good, just that sometimes it gets mundane.

3. I love the Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia series! I do wish that I could be a witch and live in the world of Harry Potter with all the fantastic creatures and magical items that are part of it. I haven't thought up my own fantasy creatures, but I enjoy reading about creatures that others have imagined, like the ones found in the books and movies you listed. World mythology is also a great source for interesting stories about these types of creatures - particularly Greek myths, which are full of giants, nymphs, centaurs, minotaurs, hydras, chimeras and many others . I don't know if you've read it, but I'd recommend "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. It is a small, inexpensive book that she wrote for charity a few years ago. I found it very amusing, both funny and interesting.
4. I agree with Kami, i like harry potter alot, and i would love to live in a fantasy world. I would rather be a wizard though, as i am a dude. my friend disagrees. She does not like harry potter. i find it quite offensive. especially when she tries to throw away my Harry Potter books.

The Heroes of Might and Magic computer games contain hundreds of fantasy and mythic creatures as well as wizards, witches, mages etc. I find reality can have plenty of magic if you see your personal mythology. I'm writing a fantasy novel that contains a unicorn that communicates telepathically and an equine creature with wings and a central horn that was born from a pegasus and a unicorn and has the magical powers of both.
7. *raised hand* That would awesome, to live in a world with all of those cool mythical beasts! Riding dragons, talking with fauns, living with the phoenixes, fighting the ogres, and creating beautiful objets with the elves! CAN YOU SAY FUN!?!? Yea, I sometimes dream about being in one lol If only dreams were real... Maybe I'll write a book or something =P
