Do you believe in the following? Why or why not?

1) Tarot Cards 2) Seances 3) Jesus 4) God 5) Ouija Boards 6) Magic 7) Psychics 8) Fortune Tellers Yes, a couple can overlap each other, but I kind of wanted to differentiate between a general idea and a more specific one sometimes. I'm purely curious on this matter. I would be curious what belief system the answerer had, but once I asked that and people said "what difference does it make".. so it's up to you if you want to answer that part. Thanks :)

4. I would suggest (to the dismay of many I am sure) that they all overlap. Our curiousity in matters spiritual runs deep, and the practices that we (human beings) have found to express this curiousity is quite diverse. We all wear clothes - but our type and style of clothes is quite different, we all eat food, but the type and style of food we eat is quite different. The experiences of God that many people have can be expressed in many types and styles. My concept of God envelops them all. I am however a cultural Christian, and attend church with my family regulary as I liike the familiarity of the liturgy.
5. I believe in all of them but Jesus. I am Hindu.
6. 1) No- I have never actually seen this being done in person. 2) Yes- I believe that spirits can be called, but that it is not something I want to dabble in. 3) Yes, I do believe in Jesus and that He died and rose again 4) Yes I believe in god, because of personal experience 5) I am not sure about Ouija Boards 6) I don't think I believe in magic 7) Psychics- again I have never been to one, so not too sure, but I have my doubts. 8) same as #7 not too sure but I have doubts I am sure most people can conclude that I am a Christian. :) Have a great day
7. I believe 1, 2, 5 7 and 8 exist (not sure about 3). They exist. But I don't think they work.
8. I believe in all those things as I am a Christian. I think the fortune tellers, psychics and magicians(real ones) use seances and tarrot cards to dispurse their satanic power to the world. I do not believe these powers come from any good source as God himself tells us we should not look into the future even though he gave a selected few, prophets, prophecies for his devine reasons. Hard to comprehend sometimes, I do agree. We have far greater power in prayer if we would only open our eyes an get busy doing God's work! It surely is rewarding!

Um, I am open minded; and I listen to what people have to say about how they think the world works; I have been to spiritual readers ( the professional ones) because my sister is into sprit guides and what not; and they actually get you right on. I do feel that people have intuitive skills- and I think its something unexplainable really by humans; I mean I don’t think we could really ever understand the supernatural world – and we may have religion for a couple more generations to explain and make us feel at ease about all this freaky stuff- but in the end- possibilities are endless…and I feel that all we know now is only .00000000000001% of what the whole world is like.

11. Jesus and God only. God the Son (Jesus) and God the Father will last forever, all that other stuff will pass away. While I acknowledge that the other six exist, I do not practice (nor support those that practice) them, since they are frowned upon in the Bible.
12. 1) Tarot Cards - yes but needs a lot of focussing and asking the question / for guidance in a specific manner 2) Seances - no prior experience, but can't say I do 3) Jesus - yes (am a muslim & since I beleive in my religion, and Islam's holy book the Qur'aan references Jesus) 4) God - yes 5) Ouija Boards - nope, but loved the movie in the 90's :) 6) Magic - again no experience, but there are references to this in the Qur'aan, so I do. 7) Psychics - i believe that one can have intuitive abilities, sort of a 6th sense ability. 8) Fortune Tellers - this is a tough one. Because I'm relatively religious (though have to be honest and admit not a devout muslim, but have strong belief in my religion) . Now, Islam states that any sort of fortelling is against God, as he is the one and only who knows what lies ahead. Then again, because I also believe in the craft of Tarot, and tarot sort of fortells .... I have a serious complex now !
