What is the meaning of love tarot cards? Are they real or fake? Are they evil?
I seen love tarot card readings and I find them interesting, I was just wondering what they mean and are they for real or just fake. I will give you an example. The Two of Chalices card reversed suggests that trust or approval might be damaged and hopes may be dashed. You could be drifting apart or disinclined to a reconciliation, or you might be facing a break-up or a disagreement regarding your arrangements and plans for the future. Before taking drastic action, be certain that you are not taking things too personally, reacting to unfounded gossip and social expectations or refusing to open your heart and see the other side because of pride. This trouble could actually serve as a blessing in disguise if you use it as a means to work to rebuild your own confidence and self-esteem through self-forgiveness and by learning to love yourself. Once done, you will embody this purpose, compassion, unconditional love and intention and will recognize your soul mate intuitively.

- they can be real if you believe i dont believe anything is evil and people put crap into peoples head but they can tell you about yourself
- The Tarot cards are for helping in answering questions be revealing the inner-most thoughts...usually covering a six month period in the asker's life relating to the particular question. Cups (chalices) relate to matters of the heart (ie: love life). I never read them upside down, for the cards already reflect both sides of the question (ie: positive and negative)....reading reversed cards came about in the later 20th century...it's a modern thing.
- Tarot cards, which today are designed in hundreds of thousands of themes (regular playing cards can also be used for card reading), are simply tools to help a card reader be more intuitive. There is no "power" (evil or otherwise) in the cards (whether they are sold as "love tarot" or "wicca tarot" or "cat tarot" or whatever) and although the individual cards have been given certain standardized meanings, the meaning in a card reading is about what the card reader "sees", not necessarily what the little book that comes along with the cards "says." Tarot cards originated in 13th century Italy and were used to play a card game that was similar to bridge. The images of the upper arcana corresponded to symbolic ideas related to morality and philosophy (the meaning now long forgotten). The Tarot began to be used for as a tool in occultism and a new (fake) history was made up about it by French occultists during the 18th century.
- Tarot cards are not evil. They are used to focus energy on answers that are true for you.
- Tarot cards-- their can only be two possibilities; either there is something to them, or nothing at all. Personally I use Tarot cards, but I don't believe the cards are inherently powerful-- I believe they are tools that the reader uses to open his subconscious to do readings and make predictions, which are not set in stone and not infallible, but can give you and edge-- a little heads up. As for how the cards are interpreted-- that would depend on the reader, and it's placement in the reading. Reading is an art, you have to find your "style" For example, in my way of reading, reversed cards don't mean the opposite. I don't believe that if I will have ill health that the deck will show me a health card reversed, I believe it would show me a card that would indicate ill health. However, I do take reversed cards to mean that something will happen to a lesser extent, like it won't have as big an impact on my life or the issue at hand.
- I echo everything said above and would like to add one thing. You've got to remember the cards tell you what is going to happen if you continue on the path you're on now. NOTHING and I repeat, NOTHING, in the cards is set in stone. You can change anything you like, just by taking a different path.
- Hello How can 78 pieces of laminated paper be evil? Tarot are a tool. A means to make contact with our psychic abilities. They can be used for divination, meditation, guidance & personal growth. The 2 of Cups is simply one card, what position is is layed in & what the question is, is far more that the basic meaning of the card itself. Pam
