Mystical Angels

My sister gave me Tarot cards and the have been in my night stand for years. will they be o.k. to use?

Should Tarot cards be wrapped in silk? Are they o.k. in my night stand?

  1. You should drench them in hydrochloric acid before proceeding! Who knows what ill demons have accumulated from years of- Oh come on, are you serious?
  2. They must be taken to a oracle who is knowledgeable on such matters. Also bring plenty of wine and gifts of gold and silver. This should help on such matters.
  3. Tarot card reading is a fraudulent business that pretends to read people's future in exchange for... you guessed it! MONEY! The cards on your dresser are just a deck of cards. As long as you aren't defrauding people with them, I don't see the problem in having them.
  4. they are as dangerus now as when you got them if I was you I would throw them away.
  5. They should be fine. Some people wrap their cards in silk or keep them in a box once they start using them so the vibrations of the owner stay in them. Personally, I consider mine a tool, so while I take care of them, I don't worry too much about vibes from others.
  6. Wrap them in silk, and sleep with them under your pillow for 3 nights. The idea behind it is that your dreams and psychic energies will transfer into the deck. This really should be done when they have not been used for any length of time, even if it's only a few months. I actually need to do this myself too - I haven't used mine in a while.
  7. I have had the same tarot deck for 27yrs. I keep them in the original broke up box in a baggie. I use them for a tool also. Mostly for meditation or answers to prayers. Your cards will be just fine. Enjoy your Tarot.
  8. You have had tarot cards for "Years" and have never used them?!? -------- Yes they will be fine in your nightstand, but please take them out every once in a while and give your friends a reading :) they were made for this after all. and silk is a very nice thing to have them wrapped in.
  9. Beware of the tarot, they are a seductive gateway to the forces of evil who seek to entice you continually. Strange as it may sound to American ears, demonic possession is no longer confined to distant lands. Today, government schools from coast to coast are teaching students the skills once reserved for the tribal witchdoctor or shaman in distant lands. Children everywhere are learning the pagan formulas for invoking "angelic"6 or demonic spirits through multicultural education, popular books, movies, and television. It's not surprising that deadly explosions of untamed violence suddenly erupt from "normal" teens across our land. Psychologists have warned that role-playing can cause the participant to actually experience, emotionally, the role being played. Again, "the child becomes the master." Or so it seems to the player. Actually, the programmer who writes the rules is the master. And when the game includes occultism and violence, the child-hero is trained to use "his" or "her" spiritual power to kill, poison, evolve, and destroy -- over and over. Not only does this repetitive practice blur the line between reality and fantasy, it also sears the conscience and causes the player to devalue life. The child learns to accept unthinkable behavior as "normal" . Not something an adult should feel any comfortable trying out anyway ....
  10. Toss them, stop playing with the devil and his toys.
  11. My Mum had Tarot cards and she kept them in a silk bag under her pillow with some special stones she found....She used them a few times and then she got a really strange reading...She was so scared, she told me she had put them away and was never going to use them again because she was scared, I also kept asking her what her reading was and why she was scared but she never said...She said it was bad and she didn't want to discuss it anymore......She died a little while ago and now I'm thinking she had read something in the Tarot cards concerning her dying... I think Tarot cards are messing with forces that shouldn't be...They tell us things that we shouldn't know. It's not right....
  12. I see that most of the reviews that you have about the Tarot Card system have been very biased CHRISTIAN based views of "Get rid of everything that WE dont use in our 'tradition' "... However, there is nothing wrong with the tarot cards. Everyone has ancestral spiritual guides that speak to us, and they show us signs in life... and the tarot is just one of those tools that people use to channel that spiritual force... Just because someone has died, and you've burried them in the ground doesn't mean they are completely gone away... As they get closely elevated to god, he commissions them to help us out with their divine intervention... You just have to know how to spiritually protect yourself from dark/negative spirits/forces... That's my two cents!
  13. Cards wear out with normal use but any safe place is fine for storage. JoMo
