  1. like many things, there is no "wrong" way to do the readings. I would suggest that you look up the history and symbolism of tarot. It helps remember what the cards mean. You can simply shuffle and pull one card, a three card spread (immediate past, present, immediate future), a Celtic Cross, or just whatever you feel calls to you. The best Tarot reader I know follows no set pattern. She follows how she feels as she's reading the cards.
  2. Almost all cards come with instructions. Or try a book at your local library, such as Tarot for Dummies. Mary K. Greer's books are fabulous, especially "Tarot for Yourself" and "21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card." There are tons of ways to read the cards and tons of spreads. Tarot is just another way to tap your subconscious mind.
  3. Aren't there instruction in the box, if not try looking it up on line
  4. You can do it however you like - I don't see how there can be a wrong way. Tarot cards were created in the 15 century for playing card games and not for telling the future - in fact, they are still used for card games throughout Europe! The point is, whatever you believe about the possibility of foretelling the future, the numerous methods people have employed to do so have all been invented. By all means, refer to a published book if like but if you prefer, why not invent your own methods and meanings? You might find it more fun.
  5. Hello If you are new to them, I would suggest getting a good book & trying out the layouts within. It can take years to fully get to grips with tarot, so don't rush & use yourself as a Guinea Pig. Join our forum, link below if you wish as we have a few tarot rooms etc. Sadhara
