Does anyone know the meaning of the bride and the bear in tarot cards?

Hi someone spread a tarod deck for me and there came out a bear and a bride do you have any idea what they are suppose to mean

  1. Not all tarot decks have brides or bears, so these really have to be read in the context of the other cards that came up in the spread. What did the person reading for you say they meant?
  2. There are no bride or bear cards in a Tarot deck. There are: The fool,The magician (or bateleur),The high priestess (or popess),The empress,The emperor,The hierophant (or pope),The lovers,The chariot,Strength,The hermit,The wheel of fortune,Justice,The hanged man,Death,Temperance,The devil,The tower,The star,The moon,The sun,Judement,The world And also: Ace, One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Page (or valet), Knight, Queen, King each of which belongs to one of the following four suits: Swords (or daggers or epees), Wands (or batons or sceptres or rods), Cups (or chalices) or Coins (or deniers or pentacles) Unless you are being drawn one of these cards, you're not having a Tarot reading.
  3. get away from tarot cards they're the devils tools
  4. It depends on the deck.
  5. I do not think it was a tarot card reading. Tarot decks consists of 21 major arcana & 56 minor arcana (though some modern decks vary). I may have the fortune-telling deck used. I will check & if so add more information. * The deck in question is the Gypsy Witch Fortune-Telling deck (ISBN 0880790415/retail price $7.00) by U.S Games. In it the bride "insures for a single person the fulfillment of their highest aims when near [the card representing the person whose fortune is being told]; if distant, turbulent life." The bear "is a sure sign of successful speculations." In all reading, the interpretation is determined by the position of the cards in relevance to each other. Thus in this reading, If these cards were close to each other [& the card representing you, if used] then the interpretation would be that you would be successful in whatever your current goal is. If you are interested in doing your own reading, this is an easy deck to use & is very inexpensive. There is also another set of fortune-telling cards that are quite accurate & easy to use (& one of my favorites) called "Psy•Cards Inspirational Deck by Nick Hobson & Maggie Kneen & published by U.S Games (ISBN 0880794011/$15.00 retail). Whether or not you believe in fortune-telling or tarot, it is a great tool that can used to meditate &/or help focus. Contact me if you are interested in additional information on this subject.
