How do you use numerology to find your Tarot card?

When I was shopping at a local occult store for a Tarot deck I was told that it is possible to find the Tarot card which best represents me by using numerology. I used stand numerology, but I do not understand how numerology and Tarot work. Which card is associated with the number 3.

2. To put it simply, you add up the numbers in your b-day (for example: 10-21-2001...1+0+2+1+2+0+0+1=7). The number you end up with will correspond to one of the cards in the major arcana. However you must have a number under 22. If the result of adding the numbers in your birthday equals more than 22, then you continue adding to come up with a lesser number (for example 10-21-1989...equals 31...so you add 3+1 and arrive at 4 which would then be your number.) EDIT: Your card is the Empress! :) This card is associated with intelligence, dignity, the authority, the mother, the wife, the right decisions.
