If a fortune teller tells you "Would you save the planet from falling on a cliff" Would you do it?

Mutants from mars has landed to mars. they kidnap chickens and turkeys to blow up earth. you need to fall off from a cliff to rescue the chickens and turkeys. do you have it what it takes to risk your life to attack mutants and save the world! also, Aliens from Pluto are kidnapping humans. They need them to explode the milky way. would you risk your life being sucked in a black hole and save the galaxy from exploding or destroy the world?

1. So let me get this straight: A pay some crazy old lady to get my fortune told, and then she tells me I have to jump off a cliff to save turkeys and chickens which I eat on a daily basis? Probably not. By the way guys, this is my little brother so be kind =)
2. Well, Cool Science Nerd told me to be kind... so there goes my original answer. I guess I fail to see why a fortune teller is asking me to fall off a cliff, rather than telling me what I am going to do, though. There are a few issues I have with the logic of the use of poultry for armageddon, but assuming I felt one of my actions could prevent the annhilation of the earth, but would kill me in the process... I'm not sure what I would do. I'd like to think I'd have the class to shorten my life to lengthen everyone elses... but I just don't know how selfless I would be, unless I was actually faced with such a scenario... I mean, I only die once right?
3. Yes I would with a parachute of course but there is no way I can travel to the black hole in my life time to save the world, I'll let someone else be the hero.
4. No way,I'd get the hell out of there in any case.
