tarot question about negative meaning?

when it shows meaning of tarot cards..one being positive..the other being negative meaning, does negative meaning mean when the card is reversed? Is there another way to read when it means negative or is it strictly when it is reversed

1. Yes, generally a negative meaning is read from a Tarot card when it is reversed. The only exception I can think of is the card 'The Tower' XVI which has a negative meaning of disaster whether reversed or non-reversed. Though usually this card is thought to mean 'disaster with a good outcome' when non-reversed and 'disaster with a bad outcome' when reversed.
2. Hello cuddles A card being reversed can mean it is negative, the opposite or even a completely different aspect of the upright. None of the tarot are negative, it is all in the interpretation. What is important is what was the question asked? Sadhara see profile :)
