I was on a holiday and was suddenly spoken by an Indian man on the street (Sydney)?
He says that I have a great luck in 2009. I am not sure if he is an authentic fortune teller or not. But, he read my palms and told me about what had happened in the past years. He also predicted my future though briefly. He is well-dressed and wore a pair of glasses. What he did was amazing - handed me a piece of paper in my hand and did something like magic ! I am still puzzled about this. Then, he gave me pieces of stones, bracelet, and his phone numbers in Australia & in India. I am so confused as there is no one like him in my country. Can he be true or just a scammer ? Have you (or your friends) had experiences like this ? I appreciate all your comments. But, I found that Danielle was just kidding me as she told me in her email saying "dude". Anyway, I thank you for your answers.

- Scam. Stay away from fortune tellers, they just want your money.
- Did he ask you for money, if not he probably believes in all that stuff.
- All I can say is he is more real than the joke in the sky.
- There are lots of people who would like you to phone them, and who want your money. Be careful.
- lol... i wouldn't be making a private appointment you say you do not usually have people like that in your country.... we do not either lol.. im aussie
- he may have real but either way you shouldn't follow his predictions as map, life is a journey. I think if he gave you his number either he wanted to take you out to dinner or wanted you to call him so you can see him and he can charge you for it. But maybe you should just follow your instincts
- Yes, this guy did the same thing to me, but that was when he was back in the USA. This guy gets around. I called him up to meet again, and he came and sat in my car, describing the good luck I would receive. At this point he asked me to get out of the car, then he got in the front seat and drove the car away. The police tell me he made it to Mexico, but they're still searching. I'll tell them that he popped up in Australia. Thanks for the info.
- He believes fate is in control of everything.
- if you feel the need to ask advice about it then you are gonna be wide open to future scams. b.t.w. , some nigerian bloke is offering me 12% of fifty million pounds. i have only to give him a load of money to get my hands on it. do you think he may be just a scammer too?
- I met one like that in Hong Kong too. He came forward and tell me that I will have good luck in the near future. As a practical Singaporean Chinese living in a busy city like Singapore, mindful of money, I asked him, "Do i need to pay?" He said "Yes". I said "No thanks." He walked away. HAHAHA!
- I can't speak from experience, but I do know there are legit wandering gurus in India, as well as fortune-tellers, faith healers, mystics, etc. who make their living from what they do, or are do-gooders who feel called to perform services. Something about how he acted and gave you stuff including his contact info makes me think this is a "try before you buy" act you didn't really ask for, and I expect it would soon come to money if you had further contact with him. Totally up to you if you find his services beneficial and want to pay for it. Personally, I'm very skeptical of fortune-telling, but I also like experiencing variety in life.
- Sounds like a scammer to me ...
- If you are approached by a stranger, be very careful. Most probably, the guy/gal might be a scammer. It was good that you were not hypnotized by the Indian man. My advice to you, do not contact him anymore. I have a friend who is an engineer, but he was scammed by almost $5,000 by this kind of scam artist. He was impressed by the reading of his fortune which was very positive and he was prevailed upon to invest his money in a kind of project, and voila, his money was gone. It was thrown away to the dustbin of scam history. Please, do not be mislaid by this kind of trickster; they are always there to make you and your money part away the quickest possible time.
- He is a scammer/cheater. It is an old trick use to con people in his country and they did it in my Nation. They were exposed by the police when a few was conned of their money.
