How do you put tarot cards in order?
How do you put cards in order? Like what suits before others. And is zero on top of the magician or under the card when they are facing down?

- i don't. i always keep mine shuffled. though i do keep them in a special bag that my friend mad for me specially for them. :)
- Well, major arcana 0-22. And minor is cups, pentacle, wands, and sword. I think, I could be totally wrong on that. The royal cards in the minor arcana come after the 1-10 cards.

- Well a tarot pack consists of four regular suits, which may have Latin or French suit signs (you will probably only know the Latin suits), an extra suit of trump cards numbered from 1-21, and an additional card, traditionally unnumbered, called the Fool. There is no order between the different suits. However, in play, trumps beat any card from a regular suit. The regular suits use what is called irrational ranking, this means that the longs suits (swords & batons / spades & clubs) rank: King, Queen, Cavalier, Valet, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 The rounds suits (cups & coins / hearts & diamonds) rank: King, Queen, Cavalier, Valet, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 This may seem odd but is common to European card games. The trumps naturally rank in numerical order, with 1 lowest, while The Fool's position can very. It's traditional role is as an excuse, and so it did not rank among the trumps at all. Later games, such as those from Austria, employ it as the highest trump, placing it above the 21.
- Hello The Fool can be placed at either end of the deck, so up to yourself. Although I like to place him before the Magician as zero comes before one. Suits can also go in any order, usually Cups, Wands, Pentacles & Swords with Ace to King. There are no rights of wrongs, play & find a method that suits you, although there is not real need to put them back in purchased order. Sadhara see profile :)
