Has anyone done Spiritual Healing? If so ~ What is it & how long does it take?

1. I know Marvin Gaye did...it took about 3 1/2 minutes or so, depending on the turntable.
2. I hold the Melchizedek priesthood which has the power to act in the name of God. I can trace my line of authority back to Peter, James, and John. I have used this priesthood to heal people. The priesthood blessing only takes a minute or two. Actual healing is dependant on the Lord and faith of the person. I am convinced that whatever blessing that I give, will come true. However, that is because I give the blessing that the Holy Ghost inspires me to give. Sometimes the time has come for people to die, and the best I can do is relieve some of their pain. I myself received a priesthood blessing after I was diagnosed with Cardio Myopathy. All the symptoms were gone after about 4 months, and I submitted myself to a different doctor to be retested. No evidence of Cardio Myopathy was found. A few years later I went back to the original doctor who talked me into being retested. Again, no Cardio Myopathy was found. That was 6 years ago, and I still feel fine.
3. If you are talking like body work, there are different types you can get into that have been around for thousands of years: reiki, acupressure, acupuncture, shiatsu, all include spiritual, energy-type healing for the body. I hope that helps.
4. I have done plenty of spiritual healing for myself and others over many years. It can be instantaneous or take longer depending on the purity of our thought. What it is, is reliance on 'spiritual' or unseen means to heal you and not depending on material methods at all. It is accomplished by turning to divine Mind (Divine Intelligence) and not only just recognizing that the power that made us is intelligent and loving, and made us to be healthy and well, but also claiming that that is our Divine Right, right here and now in spite of the fact that it may not 'appear to be so at the moment'. This involves turning away from our material (unintelligent) sense of life and relying on and trusting our Spiritual sense of Life and so becoming unafraid of the idea that sickness could be real or our true state and knowing that it does not rightfully belong to us. We can take a moral stand against it, no matter how things may seem, and rely on Infinite Spirit to heal us. We need to take a trusting and moral stand that all that Divine Mind (God) knows about us is Good, Healthy, Harmonious and Happy (RIGHT HERE! and RIGHT NOW!) and as we continue to hold to that Spiritual Truth we will bring it into our experience at every level of human experience.
