Do you believe that horoscopes are true or it's just for entertainment purposes?

I'm not sure whether to believe horoscopes are real or not. My sign is a gemini and when I read about it, some of the stuff sounded like me, what do you think? Is there proof that horoscopes are real?

  1. you are talking about Astrology, hororscopes are the supposed to be daily occurences that you see in magazines. yes, there are proofs that astrology is real based on the movements of planets and events on earth

  3. i read mine daily, but they are mostly very generalized..sometimes accurate for ME..you should really know your rising sign and read both of those signs..
  4. i believe in them...i read things that are my signs and its scary how right they are..its like your best friend since preschool is talking about you its so interesting
  5. There are common characteristics shared by people under the certain signs and studying zodiac signs can teach you about yourself. However, I think the daily horoscopes are common truths applicable to all of us. I think you can learn from them but I would not take it too literally.
  6. Really depends on the time you were born if you want a personal analysis. I'm a Gemini also. If you know your birth time you can get a free chart on the net. just type in "free natal chart." I did and the result was on the mark. For example my natal chart showed I had Virgo (tidyness) in my 4th house (represents work). True to form, I have a tidy desk(!)
  7. I enjoy learning about astrology but am not so much in to horoscopes. Like the daily ones based on your sun sign...I never read those. I do find astrology to be completely different...so far I think it has some very interesting explanations that at the very minimum seem plausible. I can't say that I am a "believer" but then again I am naturally curious with a need to keep an open-mind (which btw does match my sun sign and ascendant- lol). There are a lot of things that appear to be truths...just not sure about anything being an absolute truth! That's my take at the moment. Me: Sun: Sadge Moon: Leo Ascendant: Gemini
  8. I think it's a matter of predicting, just like the weather. It can or it can't come true. But as a matter of having your zodiac sign described so similar to you, that I can't explain..lol.. Cause I'm a Pisces and personality wise, I'm a mixture of Leo, Gemini and Capricorn... So I'm not sure. But every now and then I get on my sensitive side... So I am not very sure.. It's one of these things that can't be explained.

  12. I am a professional astrologer. If you're asking about ASTROLOGY yes, it works. If you're talking about Sun Sign horoscopes, that is what gives astrology a bad name. Your Sun Sign is a very small part of your birth chart, one of hundreds of factors astrologers take into consideration. There will be a little truth and helpfulness in Sun Sign profiles or horoscopes, because it is a little part of your birth chart. But really, they are mostly for entertainment, and often not even close to true. This is a pet peeve, so I could go on and on all day, but I'll leave it at that.
  13. Sometimes the horoscopes can be so right on its scary. I also think you are talking about astrology and I do believe the personality traits to be accurate. Of course your background and upbringing will have an impact on your personality as well but if you get to know the signs well enough, you can tell someone what there sign is before they tell you.
