- it's Tarot cards, not Tara. And you believe what you want, not what someone tells you. Tarot is dealing with medium and against christian principles, but not necessarily in league with Satan
- It was only intended to be a game that's all. Anyway your brain makes connections inside to make the card reading seem true. Any prediction is not possible it's just all in your imagination. It is a story your mind makes up in connecting the card symbols together. There is not real prediction here.
- I use tarot cards and I do not believe in the devil. They can work, but they require skilled use!
- in the bible God tells us to stay away from anything of the occult like tarot cards, fortune telling,Ouija boards, divination, practicing magic/magik. all of those things open doors to the demons. yes it's true, I know because an Ouija board was used in my house before, not by me,but it invited evil in.I no longer live there due to a fire.
- Tarot cards are a tool used for divination. They help to tap into the subconscious mind and bring to light answers to questions you may have about your life based on your past and present experiences and thoughts/feelings. Tarot can help you learn more about yourself. They have nothing to do with the devil - and you don't have to believe or disbelieve in the devil to use them. While some "fortune tellers" do use tricks like cold reading and are often well versed in body language and reading your facial expressions, not all tarot readers do this. Most who use tarot learn the symbolism of the cards and how the messages relate to everyday life. Here are some good sites for learning more about the tarot and how it is used: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/ http://www.learntarot.com/less1.htm
- I just read the cards for you. Your third spouse will have the answers.
- Tarot (not Tara) cards have been used as a divination tool for hundreds if not thousands of years. It is a way to learn what you inner wisdom and intuition is trying to tell you. There are many Christians who use tarot and other oracles and they will tell you that the wisdom that you get from these readings comes, ultimately, from God, who guides your subconscious mind and whose wisdom you tap when you do these readings. Tarot cards are difficult to master and really take years to do properly. If you had a reading done for you that was accurate, then you had the privilege of having them read by a talented Reader.
- Tarot cards (notice the spelling) are an ancient fortune telling medium. It has nothing to do with the Devil, honey. My wife is particularly adept at reading Tarot cards for our friends and predicting such things as child births, windfalls, minor disasters, and even job changes and promotions. It's harmless at worst, and at best, is a way to help you perhaps take advantage of upcoming opportunities. BUT! Don't pay a lot of money for a reading, and don't make risky decisions based solely upon someone's reading. In other words, trust the other player, but always cut the deck.
- They are tarot cards. They have nothing to do with the devil. Despite what most Christians will tell you, the Catholic church has used tarot cards in the past. So no matter your religion they are "safe." But really, they do no harm, and in the right hands, they can give you a lot of insight to your problems. I'd do it. I don't think God is going to go after you for having a tarot reading.
