Does anyone genuinely believe in horoscopes out of newspapers?

I don't. But I always read mine!

3. I can without a doubt say that SOMEONE believes the horoscopes out of newspapers. I don't. They are fun to read occasionally and generally lighter than the front page crime and updates on how much of a fool Georgie B. has been making of himself.

14. You mean the horror-scopes? Those that promise, quick wealth, fame, longevity, romance, wisdom, security and travel? Those little adages of life which apply to all in general and to none in particular? Those proverbs that call attention to qualities which appease our vanity and disguise our flaws? How could anyone not believe them? The newspaper wouldn't print anything that wasn't true.

17. I agree ewith Frodo. Listening to horoscopes are about as silly as going to church on Sunday, and listening to mummified preacher speaking fables.

19. No and I have proven this. When someone asks me to read out their horoscope, I alwasy read out the wrong one. It's written so ambivalently that it's always possible...
