How do I interpret this tarot reading?

I got a very interesting reading that I'm having difficulties interpreting. I asked the cards about my current relationship (I did the Cosmic Spread). The cards I got were: 1. The Ace of Cups Reversed 2. The World 3. The Hierophant 4. The Emperor Reversed 5. The Empress Reversed 6. Wheel of Fortune 7. VII of pentacles 8. Queen of Swords 9. IV of Swords 10. The Hermit

  1. I'm not familiar with that spread so I can't say anything without knowing what each position represents. However, since you had a preponderance of major arcana cards, it looks like something pretty important is going on with you right now.
  2. I am a beginner, but this is what I know so far. I was told that you could never do a reading on yourself. If you do, it will be screwed up. You can however, pick a card and meditate on it everday.
  3. I'm not familiar with the cosmic spread so if you can tell me the positions I can tell you which each card means in that position... Nacy's man is right... you really can't do a reading on yourself. I heard that it makes you get lost in the cards and you'll keep on doing it without ever gaining any knowledge how to read them. They're meant to be read to others.
  4. Hello Punk What are the cards position titles? Sadhara
  5. With out knowing what the positions in the spread represent, then I, like others, cannot help. The positions are a very important part of the equation. As far as reading for yourself goes- it can be hard but- YOU CAN do reading for yourself. The problem occurs when there is wishful thinking or pre-determined worries which can interfere with being open and unbiased to read the cards accurately. One must be able to ‘step outside them selves’ to do a reading for your self. I started reading only for myself, I have no troubles because I am open to hear the message in the cards and I don’t ‘look’ to manipulate the meanings because I ‘want’ or ‘hope’ for a certain outcome or message.
