I used the Tarot Cards and now I'm hallucinating? Christians, I need help!?

I feel a cold presence all around me, and I feel like I'm hallucinating because everything around me is moving like an optical illusion. At the corner of my eyes, there's something there and when I turn off the lights, there are shadows all around me. Please, I am by no means a PSYCHO, or CRAZY. I am freaked out, and I've been taking an on and off obsession with the paranormal and divination, and back than I used the Ouija board, but I became saved, and everything was alright. But I recently am doing the Tarot Cards, and things have gone horribly wrong. I don't know what to do, and I'm very scared. Please, please, to any Christians out there I'd love your advice (atheists please do not make sarcastic remarks).

Its best that you ask God in to your heart cause you obviously kicked Him out sometime ago. He is the only one that can stop the evil going on around you. I suggest if you are serious to get on your knees and ask Him back into your heart and pray. Just ask Him back in and He'll take care of the rest.

The first thing you need to do is to put the Tarot cards down and pray. I am not sure if you go to church but if you do you need to speak to your Pastor. If not seek out a bible based church and go. Make an appointment with the Pastor and seek counsel.

You are seeing demons, and they will take advantage of you, Put the devils tools away, take and tear these tools up, although I am sure it is not really the tools, but the simple fact, you are creating a portal for the devil to come in, if you invite the devil in, you will get him, you cannot serve two masters. you either follow Christ, put your trust in Jesus, or satan will play with your head. This is no joke, and I know you are not crazy, this is serious, and the first step, is getting rid of any thoughts about wanting the paranormal such as satan in your life, the only God you should be wanting is your Father in Heaven. Again, get rid of this stuff, mainly in your mind, ask forgiveness, turn to God, and tell the devil to leave in Gods Name, there is a chapter in matthew 10, somewhere in there, is a prayer, you can say, I cannot remember the exact, but if you start reading you will find it, pray to the Lord, because you haven't truly turned your life over to Christ, if you are seeing demons.

First off tarot cards are very dangerous to play with, it is like playing with the ouija board. You need to pray to your Guardian Angel and to the Seven Archangels for protection. Saint Michael fights against pride and evil spirits so you should pray directly to him also. You should go get some Holy water also. And you really need to consult a Roman Catholic Priest. It is hard to say how severe this problem is. For instance my dad and his sibs played with the ouija board a couple of times when they were children, they release 4 evil spirits into that house. Unfortunately we tries a few times to get rid of them but it never work, though we never went through the house with the exorcism prayer which would have gotten rid of them. God may be punishing you for playing the the cards in the first place, what you did was incorrect, and you may need a priest to help you rectify the situation. I am also assuming that you have gotten rid of the cards also if not do so.

I'm unsure why tarot cards would have anything to do with what you are expeirencing. If anything, the ouija board is your issue.
Hello The tarot are not the cause of this in any way. Your have deep seated fears about what being in touch with your own spiritual self will bring & it is these that are in action, nothing more. OK - I may be an atheist but this is NOT a sarcastic remark. Contrary to popular myths, tarot cards are not occult objects - we know a great deal about their history. They were created in the mid 15th century by adding a fifth suit to a standard pack of playing cards. These extra cards took as their theme not an occult philosophy nor magical symbols but a traditional Christian triumph procession. Hence they were called trionfi, meaning triumphs, and from which we get our word trump - it was the invention of tarot that marked the invention of trumps in card games. There are suggestions from historians that they specifically represent the procession held to celebrate the birth of Bianca Visconti in 1425. For their first 350 years they were used for nothing but playing games - and no, the church never objected to tarot cards (once the most popular form of card game throughout continental Europe) because they saw them as the traditional Christian images that they were. Seen out of context of their time, they sometimes look exotic and strange - but in fact every image was a staple of Christian art of the time. So, there you have it. Don't get worked up. They are not the work of the devil. They are for playing card games - games that are still played today. And no, you won't learn the future from them - a stack of cardboard no more knows your destiny than a tealeaf knows the history of the East India Company! Whatever is causing your troubles, it is not a pack of playing cards. If you're in doubt, look for the books on tarot history by the Catholic philosopher of logic, Sir Michael Dummett. Now, you aren't crazy but you should consult a doctor. For example, these things can be caused by severe anxiety which may be easily treated. Your doctor will be the best person to advise you about this.

The Modern Tarot is very much grounded in Jewish Mysticism and Kabbalah; the Trumps represent the pathways on the Tree of Life; the Minor's the 1-10 Represent the Sphere's or Sephirot. So I would disagree with Philebus here in that they are very much Occult Objects; but I would also totally disagree with the negative definition of the Occult he implies. I am not writing however to tell you; you are not experiencing what you are experiencing. These things do happen; and I have no reason to doubt your experience in the moment. Ok so things you can do .... Shower, don't bathe, Running water has a long tradition of cleansing Negative energies across the mystical traditions of the World. Use Salt Salt Disrupts the energy of Negative Entities; and you might well have a neg attached. Ok so you want to cleanse the deck with Salt. Pour it over the deck, a reasonable amount. Leave the deck with the salt over it in sunlight for at least a day. As you are a Christian praying to the Angel's mentioned in a previous post to call on Gods power to cleanse You and the Deck is a very good Idea. When you shower; take a shot glass or so of rather dense salt water; let it pour over yourself. Pray for Cleansing as you do so... then rinse it off.
