Why are psychics so jealous and envious of each others gifts, and the fact Uor I might have a major destiny?

And don't give me that weak stuff about everyone has a destiny. Because most don't live up to them.

1. I really haven't noticed that; in fact, in my experience, most psychics tend to try to validate one another. Perhaps it's simply that psychics, like most people, might be put off by someone willing to go by the name Kolonel Klan?
2. because tehy know they will never have the same destiny as youself. every psychic as the same destily to contact the dead for others. lets say your a psychic and my destiny is to save the world from a great desease. i come to you for a reading. all the you have to say is "you are going to save the world from a greate desease" Woulddnt you love to be the one saving the world. that is why i think that they are childing wingers lol hope it helps lol
3. I don't think 'true' psychics are jealous... only the ones that are inferior and try to pass them selves off as authentic are jealous... As for destinies - I am still questioning that one!
4. hhhhmmmm I have noticed that with a lot of pagans, wiccans, santerians, and voodoo peoples. I am baffled by this myself. Frankly, I don't give a sh!t what power people hold. Just as long as they hold it in a good way.

7. To answer your question quite simply, ego. It is the ego that separates all of us from each other. Once we toss the ego aside and realize everyone is here for a very specific purpose and are all playing our parts in that, then there is no need for ego anymore. Ego = fear...whatever people (everyone, not just "psychics") might fear gets in the way of their own progress and theirs only. It doesn't interfere with your progress or "destiny". If someone acts all crabby over another persons gifts, you can just chalk it up to that, not worry about it and just move on and do what you need to be doing.

9. Well, everyone does have a destiny, but your right, not everyonre uses them and some are minor and reletively unimportant. Ermmmm... Wouldnt you be jealous if you knew someone was destined to be the president, or found a religion, or something like that? I would.
10. I am so glad you asked this question. Many of the male practitioners of the esoteric paths do seem inordinately territorial. I began noticing this years ago and really pondered it. I came to no real conclusions. This doesn't mean the problem only rests there but I find it to be more evident there. Women practitioners are, for the most part, supportive of one another. There is nothing like a combining of abilities to work a problem. The only real friction I've seen is in the choice of style or method decided on in a group working. That is why there's usually an individual who makes the final decision on that. I am not saying all men of abilities are unable to share. Nor am I saying all women are. I've just noticed a division in the way they practice. As far as your question of destiny goes... we all have more than one. And at the same time, we also have free will. The 'script', if you will, is not carved in stone. Many of us fulfill our destinies without ever being aware of them. Some of us think our destinies are one thing or another, when in fact they're something completely different. And most of us neglect the idea that as we move along on that path of free will, we bump into others, and by doing so allow them to fulfill their destinies.

It's for one of two reasons: 1) The jealous person is aware that he is a fake and a)..he realizes the other guy knows that he is a fake, or b)..he wishes that he had as good a con as the other guy,or c)..he wishes that he thought of it first, or d)..he wishes that he could pull it off as well as the other guy, or e) these are *his* rubes, go find your own....etc. etc. 2) The jealous person actually *believes* that he is psychic, and therefore believes that the *other* guy is psychic too, and how come *that* guy gets to be psychic in a way *he* isn't?
12. Well, i don't know about the whole phychic thing, i do believe we all are to a lesser or greater extent but the argument or debate behind it is unaware to me. But as far as the destiny thing is concerned, you have no idea what it could be. Look at the bible (no i am not Christian but this is just an example) Mary did not have all that huge of a role when you think about it, all she really did was give birth successfully and safely, that's it. She may have helped here or there but she is known for giving birth. Not all of us are born to do great things, some of us are born to do very little or mediocre things. Think about it, you could start a company and after you die that company could save the world, or you could help a little old women across the street and someone watching could save a life after remembering what you did. The butterfly effect doesn't just work for devastation, it can also work for the betterment of mankind also.

14. Sweetie, that is a new one on me, I honestly don't know that I've run into anyone who is jealous of the fact, nor have i ever experienced jealousy of such.
15. not true, not real psychics.. lol..being psychic is all about being spiritual..the more you evlove spritually, the more psychic you become naturally.. Jesus Christ was a true psychic some people have done this without being spiritual but I think they have "gone" where they shouldn;t have..a bit like stealing or psychically stealing information..I don't really know but I have met people who were for example able to read minds etc & they were not spiritual, believe me...

17. Unfortunately it is quite true that there is much jealousy amongst psychics. I have encountered it time and time again. As someone has mentioned it is purely due to the ego, just because you are psychic, doesn't mean to say you are going to be spiritual. Yet, there are other psychic mediums out there that are very supportive of others, whether they have a greater of lesser talent. But they tend to be the truly spiritual ones.
18. I don't think that is true, most psychics I find work together or have respect for each other's gifts and work. Oh and everyone has a destiny... doesn't mean that it has to involve "greatness" in the sense that you are presuming.
