Why don't people get a Psychic or Fortune Teller's information after receiving a great reading?

I do a lot of special events where I read for as many as 60 people. I'm constantly amazed at how often people will say I'm right about their current and past situation during and after I give them a reading and LOVE what I had to offer them but a) don't ask for my information (such as name, contact info) or b) I rarely hear from them again. Also there is more value in receiving a reading than predictions yet why is everyone so focused on that? Insights, guidance, and an objective ear go a long way too. Here's an extreme example of someone wanting to get a hold of someone they had a reading with: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080328154108AARuiHR And I get people contacting me asking if I know so and so because they are really good but they can't find them anymore. Anyway, if you get a reading from a psychic, fortune teller, tarot reader, etc.. and you really liked what they have to say -- get their information and stay in touch. Also it would be nice if there was a Psychic / Reader / Paranormal Readings or something like that category. Horoscopes was the first choice for this query which is probably a reason why non-astrology related questions show up in that section!

1. My mother is a psychic and tarot and crystal reader and she always has returning customers. She is based in the UK. But I think it helps that she writes the horoscopes for the local paper too - so if someone has has a reading off of her, and then want to see her again, they can just contact the paper to get in touch. She is also listed on personal business sites. Maybe you could try that incase someone needs to get hold of you again?

I would think going to a fortune teller would be like going to a dodgy mechanic, that they would hardly encourage future communication when the customer is likely to be returning complaining that the brakes still aren't working or that nothing that the so called fortune teller predicted actually occurred. 3. Please,you use a computer,a product of science and reason,you do not have psychic powers because they don't exist.
4. Abella does have the power to make money from other people who believe she is psychic though. I think this question is a thinly veiled attempt to promote her business.
5. Hi Abella, I think I recognise you from Aeclectic Tarot. The only thing I can think of is that they could be so amazed at the accuracy of your reading and they aren't really thinking straight so it just doesn't occur to them to ask for your details. Or perhaps this is just a one-off reading and aren't planning to have another one. Who knows? On the subject of predictions, people probably think that it is something weird, wonderful and a bit spooky to have your fortune told - a touch of the paranormal. Whereas insights and guidance is not quite so exciting. Do you have business cards that are on your table in a prominent position? People will often pick up a card rather than ask for information.
