  1. "11 Jay-Z: Hard Knock Life"
  2. wow. third time today a question pertaining that list has been asked. my thoughts are that they need to do some research. wayne over common? that is NOT common sense.
  3. Jay-Z is there @ #11 with Hard Knock Life... Eminem #15 - Stan but either way that entire list is outta-whack... id love to know who they appointed to make this list or what statistics it was based on...
  4. 11 Jay-Z: Hard Knock Life
  5. This was posted a couple times this morning. This list is f*cked up, there are songs that don't even belong, and the order is ridiculous. I mean, "One Love" is 49th but "Get Ur Freak On" is 16th...
  6. I think VH1 is run by rich, white people that dont understand the real concept of what real hip-hop is.The same goes for MTV How the f#ck is Wayne over Big Pun? Hope that helps.
  7. No way should Master P appear on any list with the word "Great" in it. Nor should VH1 attempt a countdown of a genre of music they don't normally broadcast anyway.
  8. Eminem is 15 I think its a good list
  9. Yea some of them shouldn't have even made the list. I still don't get the big thing of Coolio's"Gangsta's Paradise". It was wack if you ask me! And also Nelly's "Hot In Herre", WTF! They have got to be kidding
  10. I suprised Crank Dat isn't on there.
  11. my boys snoop doggy dog:gin and juice and ice cub:it was a good day.
  12. Worst list of all time...it just gets me mad looking at it.
  13. I just dont see where they're coming from exactly. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtC1YtVK6cYl.uQ8wOaHh0zty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20081001065350AACxyS8&show=7#profile-info-CDnmuX1Jaa
  14. 69. Common-I Used To Love H.E.R 50. Lil Wayne-Tha Block Is Hot PFFFTTTTHHHTTTT...
  15. Mr.NR asked this same question this morning.. its cool cause i don't think much of it! but hey Lil Wayne is on their once! AMEN...
  16. I would've thought Nas-One Mic would've been on here.....why in the world is wayne on this...??? damn.
  17. They must have been going by which songs got the most radio play or something like that. How in the he** did MC Hammer, Lil Jon, and JJ Fad get on there?
  18. its not really good but, what do you think of vh1's overuse of countdown shows?
  19. A lot of people don't understand that list was compiled by airplay and requests at the time that the songs were popular, not now. Now a lot of those songs are even considered "one hit wonders" but at the time they were out they were "smashes". I watched the entire thing more than once. You have to remember that I'm older than most on here and I enjoyed it. I saw a retrospective of the years and thought they gave a fair play through the years of songs. I was pleased....even though I know that a lot of the younger generation will be looking for newer artists...they don't understand that it is the TOP 100 OF ALL TIME. They did it with a calculator and did it by requests and airplay time. I think they did a really good job. We got everyone from Heavy D to PM Dawn to Jay-Z to Eric B & Rakim. I thought it was a good representation of a lot of good hip hop artists throughout the years. To some it may have seemed like more "mainstream" but it was VH1 so you've got to understand where they're coming from and their audience. It sure beat reality TV!!!! Peace & Love :)
  20. I'm only going to look up to number 41, since I still plan on watching it. lol So far, I think the order is messed up. I also think some of the songs picked for certain Artists didn't make sense, and some songs shouldn't be on the list. I would like to know who actually voted though. Like if it was straight industry people or the public. Other than that, it's cool to watch and see what the Artist and the people giving commentary have to say about the songs.
  21. Wu tang shoulda been on there way moree, this is a really gaY LIST
  22. The worst Hip Hop list I'v ever seen in my life
