Do you think those pet psychics are fake?

I mean people pay pet psychics a lot of money just to know what their cat or dog thinks of them. Do you really believe that people can read their pet's mind and translate what they are thinking? I think it's like $300-500 a session. Do you think they are scam artists or do you think they are genuine?

  1. yes, they are idiots who live off of other idiots (and their poor pets)
  2. Scammers. Without a doubt. People are so self centere they even need to know what their PETS think of them. I guess these scammers just found their niche market.
  3. YES
  4. i agree, idiots scaming idiots
  5. Yes, that's hilarious. I had a yorkie and it was only about 7 weeks old, just got it. My mom raised them at her house because my childhood dog was the mom. My mom doesn't have any other animals. I went to a pet psychic and they said my puppy didn't like how my bird in my house kept her up all night, and she also didn't like how I showed more affection to my other animals, which I didn't have any animals.
  6. I doubt that they can create much influence in low ( almost not ) inteligent bain. Anyway - they try some "tricks" but at all they do not do much.
  7. They're SOOOO fake. And if they charge that much, they're more or less con men. Some will even 'read your pet's mind' without even meeting your pet, using nothing but a picture or something like that. It's one thing to look at an animal's behaviour, you can probably deduce a lot of things from that. But the animal is not going to 'tell' a psychic that it misses a friend it had three years ago.
  8. I think, with some common sense, and some knowledge of animal behavior, possible to asses certain things through body language - much as it is possible to tell what mood a person is in, simply by observing their actions. Part of what an animal psychic does is this (which is nothing special really, a bit of effort and we could probably learn how to 'read' our pet too) and the rest, I think is rubbish. Someone making a lot of money out of desperate pet owners.
  9. a scam! oh...oh....wait a minute..I'm getting a message from my dead hamster Bonita...she's trying to say something.... what is it Bonita?.....she says....she says....... You ppl are getting ripped off by scam artists...save your money! ha ha. EDITED: well Sun Sonic considering how you spelled intelligent brain....i wouldn't count YOU very high up in the food chain either! LMAO
  10. depends. if they can tell you stuff that only you and your pet sort of know then maybe they are real.
  11. Scam...most definitely.
  12. If you understand the way animals think and communicate with one another you can have an idea of what that are thinking to a degree, such as Pat Parelli (horse trainer) but those pet psychologists that sit your cat on a couch and talk to it, are fake and just take advantage of extremely gullible owners I think.
  13. I believe there are people who can communicate with animals. Just like I believe that there are psychics, but here's the catch. I also believe that sometimes people who are given these gifts can loose them for using them in the wrong way. I think that is is crazy to spend that much money to hear what one of them say about your pet. To be truthful about it you would be better off asking one of the neighbor kids what your dog or cat or whatever is thinking, as kids are usually more open to communication with animals than adults are. Don't freak the kid out, but just casually ask , "What do you think "Buster" is thinking about?" You might be surprised at the answer.
  14. I think all those 'mind-readers' and 'psychics' are a bunch of scam artists mooching money off losers who have no common sense.
  15. I'm not impressed by them. Not that I don't like animals. There may be some amount of genuine information coming from somewhere but that doesn't make these people psychic. It just means that they're puppets. I f you learn animal behavior and proper nutrition and really pay attention to your pet you'll get an idea when somethings wrong. Like eating habits bathroom habits and so on. Many of these things are just common sense. Animals can have many of the same illnesses that we do like cancer arthritis depression and so on. Body language the way they treat strangers as a threat to their own attention and children. I moved in with my sister and the cat resented it so it peed on my bedding's in my shoes all kinds of weird crap. This wasn't just marking territory it was for revenge. Nice question anyway.
  16. If they do say that they can read animals' minds, uuuummmm.......fake if you can't tell. You can know how your animal feels at you by observing what he does around you.
  17. Undoubtedly fake. But you know what they say about a fool and his money.
