How do psychics know stuff about your past?

My friend went to one and she know he was between two girls and all this other stuff about him and we made sure not to talk about anything when we went in there. The lady even told him the initials of the two girls. Are these psychics real or what cause this is very strange.

  1. Yes, they probably were. Psychics know stuff about your past because they are *gasp* psychic. I will, however, agree that some are fakes that read facial expressions to get their answers.
  2. Have you ever heard of a psychic winning the lottery? No! Have you ever heard of a psychic predicting in advance? No just after the fact.
  3. It is mental training. They work and sharpen their intuition.
  4. Your face has many MANY different involuntary muscles that move when you think of certain things. It takes a VERY trained eye to watch and understand what the small spasms mean. There are spasms for truth and lies, and such. Psychic - There is a problem with your husband. Woman - What is that?(muscle makes a small spasm) Psychic - You don't have one. That is basically how some psychics do it. Most psychic's are fakes that can't even do that though.
  5. What you have described is called a cold reading. A so-called psychic will address a group of people and say something like, "I'm getting the name Sam." Then you'll hear from various people in the audience: "My name is Sam." "Sam was my father." "I have a dog named Sam." The "psychic" will then pick one, and continue making educated guesses, while watching their victim closely for body language and facial cues. Usually, the "psychic" will spout some sort of drivel about the victim having money troubles (who doesn't?), or having to travel at some point (who doesn't, even if it's just 200 miles to go see Grandma at Christmas?). What these people do is vile because not only do they lead the unwary down the garden path, but they also prey on grieving people who have lost loved ones. There is little in this world more disgusting than that.
  6. Some of us are real and we all get impression in different ways.
  7. My belief that everybody is a psychic. You see, “psychic” comes from the Greek word “psyche”, which means either “mind” or “soul.” So anybody with a mind or a soul is psychic. Although it is true that everybody is psychic, it does not mean that everybody manifests the power equally well. Some are better at it than others. Ever experience this? The phone rings and you know who it is before you answer it or look at the caller ID? Some psychics hear things, some get visuals, I personally get the "gut feeling".....I feel the emotions from other people. If someone is upset I feel upset. It's all in interpreting what is making me feel this way or remembering another time that I felt this way and then realize that is why the other person is upset. Everyone has the ability or the "sixth" sense.......it's just that there are few of us that are more open to it and learn to trust it and open up to it. Some psychics will have a word, a picture or a symbol pop into their head. Here is a link that describes the different psychic abilities... http://www.askgrace.com/psychic_powers_intuition.htm I hope this helps.
  8. while some "psychics' are indeed fakes- like the one in my area who bills herself a "reverend" and can "take a voodoo off of you", some are the real deal. the way i was taught to read is to connect to your aura's energy, which is really easy to do. then the answers just kinda pop into your head. in my faith (wicca) it is said that the answers come out of the void, where all things come from and go back to. the ones who do the guessing game thing, like John Edwards, i think are fakes. the ones who just seem to know, like Sylvia Brown, are the real deal. and anyone who starts spouting stuff about spells, bad luck or voodoo are DEFINITLY fakes.
  9. as a telepathic i say to u, yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup. theu r reall
