Mystical Angels

Need help in finding out about a certain mystical religion.?

I am trying to figure out to what type of mystical religion my friend belongs to. She told me theres only a location in manhattan, NY & in europe. She says they assign a personal guide to you. She doesnt want to tell me the name, so if someone could help.

1. It's probably a private cult. If she claims it is mystical, that is the first sign of a cult, as most cult leaders claim to have special knowledge of such things.
