tarot spread meaning?

HI, I had a tarot reading a while ago, it was about a possible relationship. I would like to know the meaning of a few cards that came consecutve when asking for the resolution of the problem or issue. They were: the devil, the tower, the ace of pentacles and finally the empress. I would appreciate if people that wants to help contributes and not people that just wants to mock the question. The questions is about me making a possible trip to see an xbf I haven't seen for 7 years, he's got s gf and I will just go there to check out if "maybe". I have a bf as well but ain't really in love, therefore my "seeking". These 4 cards came up when asked to see how the problem of me going there will resolve or how things will end up. If anyone can add more it would be great. Thanks a million! well all the cards were upright. I chose them at random for the table and I am almost certain that the reader was giving me a reading using all the cards upright...again, any more opinions welcome:)

1. It depends on the spread you had done and the place. Normally (based on a general meaning here) The devil and tower together show negativity and confusion (regarding your specific question). The ace of pentacles & empress would mean you shall be rewarded with a new beginning ahead. Things will be looking up. But like I said, it really depends whether in the spread the position was about your past, current or future situation.
2. Oh my gosh your relationship is gonna die! Temptation is the devil card. A major breakup is the tower card, and the tower is just about the worst card in the deck, second being the devil card. Money, that's ace of pentacles. Empress, um, some woman with a baby? So in a story it would go that someone is having an affair and then there is a divorce, then there is a settlement for cash. Child support is in the future.

4. I have been reading tarot for about 7 years now. This is a very powerful spread. The fact that 3 of your 4 cards were major arcana shows this. This was obviously a very important question to you. Basically what this spread shows (and obviously some things change depending on the spread itself and the placement of the cards) is that you were nervous and scared what could come about with this decision. The tower is a card of change. Significant change. With the ace of pentacles and the empress, I would say good change. These last two cards together show an abundance, happiness, and fertility. Whatever you choose, keep in mind that things can play out differently than you may think. Just because this spread shows happiness and abundance, that could be further down the road than immediately.
