I had a very strange and kind of scary experience. Does aural cleansing exist? What about spiritual cleansing?

First off, I am a very spiritual person and I believe that God has blessed some people with special abilities. I believe 100% in the paranormal. That said, I was approached in a mall by a woman who said I had a black outer aura and that I had a lot of negativity surrounding me. She then went on to discuss things with me that had taken place in my life. I do believe she has abilities and is very much in touch with spirits, auras, energy. She said she was going to meditate for me to find out where the negativity is coming from. She did the meditation and had me meet with her to discuss her discoveries. She asked me to bring a grapefruit. She basically told me that there was so much negativity in my life that she needed to do more meditating to help me heal. She asked me to bring a grapefruit to the meeting. I did, and she then sat me on the floor and started reciting prayers and said that any negativity would manifest itself in the grapefruit. While I sat down, I heard her standing above me and it sounded like she was peeling the grapefruit slowly but I didn't pay any more attention. Then she rubbed it on my back and recited more prayers to pull the negativity from me. Once she was done, she asked me to step on the grapefruit. I stepped on the grapefruit to squash it. She picked it up and showed me a tiny snake (serpent she called) that was inside the grapefruit. Here's where I have a problem. I heard the citrus being pierced while I was on the ground and believe that she put the snake there. I don't believe it just appeared. However, I'm worried that what she did was some kind of spell or curse because I wasn't going to give her money. I'm scared. How do I cleanse myself of this. All I wanted was clarity. Why do gifted people choose to take advantage for money? I understand making a living for survival, but what she asked for was $3,000. This is crazy, and I won't pay it. I just wonder if a curse was put on me. Help! Thank you all for your feedback. I truly appreciate it and feel more at peace. I've been sad and seeking clarity for some time, and I guess I was vulnerable--especially because she knew details about my life that I never shared with her. Sometimes I feel lost in this world like I don't belong and desperately seek answers. Some friends talked to me about reincarnation/past lives and that I may be trying to sort out these old issues and that these feelings can be linked to other lives. Who knows? I am open to the idea. What I took from this experience is knowledge and resources from Yahoo contributors. Thank you very much. I know that I am on the right path and just have to have more faith in myself. I believe in positive energy and that we work with the universe to create beautiful lives. She gave me two candles to burn. I am throwing them away and not giving any more energy to her.

Hi, I'm really glad you posted here before parting with cash. Charlotans exist in every field, and this woman is one of them. So she keeps snakes for a hobby, and tested your gullability by asking you to bring a grapefruit. Please don't believe that all psychics/ practitioners are like this. They aren't One of the witches I know doesn't even charge anything - they just ask for any basic donation - mostly wood for the fire or food. If you think you have bad run of luck, then go see a registered Reki practitioner - but don't part with cash untill you are 100% happy. Be very careful of anyone aproaching you offering to fix your roof, unclog your drains or clear your bad aura unless you have asked them to turn up!
You were concerned because some random crazy woman you don't know said some random crazy thing to try and scam you, and you believed it? And you believe in spells? You can "cleanse" yourself by realizing what happened here and why it happened. People use paranormal scams like this all the time to fleece the gullible. Don't be scammed. Be smart. Realize that this stuff is just fantasy used to scare you. Cleanse yourself of magical thinking. Aura cleansing or spiritual cleansing only exist as fantasies.
Truly gifted people would never scare you or scam you like that. She obviously knows just enough to be a determint to herself and those she runs into. The first thing you need to know is that she cannot hurt you. You are stronger than that, and you see through her scam. You will know fall prey to her again and you do not need to ever pay her any money. This has been a learning experience nothing more. (keep telling this to yourself whenever you feel overwhelmed by the experience) There are some simple things you can do for yourself to help seperate from her and clear your aura. firstly, try not to think of her. I know that sounds silly, but the truth behind this is that our thoughts are energy. The more we think on something the more power we give it. Here's a meditation to help with the separation. Think of a beautiful infinity symbol floating in space. Next put yourself in a white bubble inside one half. Next put her in a white bubble in the other half. Then think of one positive thing that you learned from this experience. Next think of one positive thing that you taught her in this experience. next imagine a giant pair of silver scissors. Next, visualize those scissors cutting the infinity symbol at the halfway point. Watch as you each drift away from each other. Other ways to help clear your aura. - take a long bath with a bit of sea salt in the water, as well as some essential oils used for clearing. I recommend clary sage, patchouli and or verti vert. Make sure you get yourself wet all over - even your hair. Imagine you are washing off any negative connections, any negative influences, and feel clean, protected and refreshed. *BIG HUGS* I am really sorry that happened to you but I am glad that you figured out that it was staged. I think the lesson you should take from this is that you need to trust yourself more and believe more in who you are, not who this lady says you are...and also to believe in your Divine right to Divine protection. You say that you are a very spiritual person, there should be no reason for your aura to be covered in darkness. Number one, don't be scared. You need to trust that your higher power is looking out for you at all times and the only reason that some people are able to pull off curses and black magick is because of fear. Fear can take us out of alignment of Divine protection. Second, take a salt bath. A salt bath will cleanse your aura. I don't know what kind of spiritual person you are so I am trying to give you neutral things that you can do. If you work with the Angels or are open to working with the Angels, then call on Archangel Michael and ask that he removes all negativity from you and to remove any negative attachments. Alternatively, you could do a return to sender chant...you basically say "I return to sender all negativity that has been intentionally sent to me and I release that person in love and light." I have studied and applied a lot of different kinds of spiritual methods so feel free to email if none of that feels right for you. Feel free to email for any reason. Lastly, most of us learn the hard way that not all gifted people are good people. Unfortunately psychic capabilities are not given to just the good people in the world. As a spiritual person, you might face some negativity and so you should know how to protect yourself from things like this. Did you get any feeling about her that she was a scam artist? Within you, you have this inner guidance system that you are ignoring. The story of Adam & Eve is about how they didn't listen to the inner voice or feeling & ended up losing their kingdom of good. You are now safe & if you feel up to it you should probably report her so she is stopped. That might help you feel more empowered....Start noticing when you get a good feeling or a bad one so that you don't attract anyone into your life like her again. Even though you didn't pay her she did give you a great gift if for now on you learn when someone is a rat. My sense is that you are a very sweet person. So just shake this experience off by saying how much you appreciate the lesson. Now sit still & see how you feel. Are you feeling fear? Then start saying the opposite until you feel it. Say I have faith, I feel faith, I am faith. Keep asking yourself what you feel & if it is negative say the opposite...this can be an event that turns your life around for the better. She lied to you your aura is fantastic.
You have been scared in the pursuit of easy money by a greedy person. No one would approach you and say that you had a problem if they were being honest. No gifted person would ask for money though they might take a donation, but this could be as small as you like, perhaps a cake or bar of chocolate, though cigarettes are often welcome. (I hate smoking) But, as most of us can be scared by an impressive scam, then you need some help to get out of it. Do what you can for yourself. You say that you have special abilities, then believe wholly in them and feel yourself getting stronger than this woman. When did she ask for money, before or after? Is there any local law against fraudulent mediums? Some have been sued for taking money in England. It is a shame you do not have any of the grapefruit. But try getting some friends to sit and think about protecting you and sending out good wishes, say once every night at 8pm, or weekly if they are busy. Or get some red and some green wool. Make bracelets or just tie red and green on each wrist. As you do the red say may the gods be with and protect me three times, and with the green say may the earth mother protect and look after me, then imagine being in a lovely green valley with the earth mother Gaia and with the gods looking down on you from the heavens. Try a spiritualist 'church' or an alternative group if you need more help and advice.
I hope you reported her to the police so that she can be stopped before she preys on anybody else, she's obviously nothing more than a common criminal trying to defraud people of their money. Please don't hesitate to report her to the authorities.
Humans are very gullible! Fear is a powerful weapon when a person knows how to use it. If no one talked to each other there would be no problems on this earth. Communication can be good, or, as more often bad. God is love, yet wars and death are all around us. This planet is but a mere speck of dust in all the galaxies (who knows how many there are)! Live your life as good and happy as you can. You only have one life, don't waste it. Be happy!
That’s a classic scam...i saw these people at the mall, they always ask for money for a deep cleanse...don’t worry they don’t have any power on you...don’t give her any power. Consider that people like her are doing that for living, so they have a bunch of tricks in the pocket, they always will find out the way to get your attention...and they are good guessing how you feel because they put attention to little details. Take some time with yourself and meditate, clean your mind and then visualize positive energy coming to you in your breathing, and let go the bad vibes...empower yourself to stay protected surrounded for an aura of good energy and forgive and bless everybody especially those that are against you. If touched with that pencil the subject will create a blister where the pencil touched.
