Tarot Card Reading Help please?

When reading tarot cards, should you always use all suits of the minor arcana. Even if the suit doesn't pertain to the question asked. For instance: "Why is there a discrepancy between me and my boyfriend" Usually the minor arcana set- cups pertains to relationships Should i just use this suit or include the major arcana suit and the rest of the minor as well?

1. I tend to use them both. The minor arcana can tell you many things too, you just have to know what they are saying. The suit can pertain to something from the question you ask as you don't know what the answer will be how can you say that all the suits are not going to be relevant? there may be some problems in your relationship which could be signified by a card from the suit of swords or their could be financial gains or difficulties which could be signified by the suit of pentacles/coins. Using all the suits and both major and minor arcana can give you a broader more in depth answer to your question.
