do you think tarot cards work?

i often use this free website www.facade.com to ask questions on the tarot cards. i have always find it particularly in tune with what im feeling and good at providing me guidance. is it just random or do you think it works? no its not. although it does sound like it. its just everytime i've used it it really seems to relate to my life. but is it just like horoscopes or whatever and everybody can relate in some way hahaha @ xy

1. Is this a thinly-veiled advertisement for your website? Tarot cards and other forms of divination are open to interpretation so generally that you can project whatever you want into them during and after a reading. It may help organize your thoughts and feelings about a subject, but the tarot itself is irrelevant.
2. They do not. Please read Carl Sagan's "the demon-haunted world", which deals with that and similar nonsense.
3. No, they don't work. I put a pack in the middle of the floor and told them to wash my windows and vacuum the carpet. They didn't do squat.

10. Tarot cards are paper & ink. They don't know anything but you can enjoy the pretty pictures.

13. Do I think they "work"? Yes. Do I think there's anything mystical or metaphysical behind them? No. When you get right down to it, it's a collection of 78 archetypes from mythology. Archetypes reflect some of the real struggles in life. So if something's on your mind, chances are good that you'll project that idea and "see" it in the cards.
14. I don't think that they can predict the future, but picking a card and meditating upon the meaning of the card and the meaning of the meaning in your life can be helpful. Whenever I do it, I can often see a different perspective on a situation.
15. i don't believe tarot cards predict the future or anything like that. But i do believe that they give you a different perspective on events by allowing you to consider a path you might not have thought by yourself.

20. Ditto to Dreamstuff Entity. What works is for you to control your own life and own destiny and quit relying on inanimate objects and invisible friends to do your thinking for you. You have no idea the power your own mind has. Dreamsuff's suggestion of "A Demon Haunted World" is a great place to start. Also, Sharon Begley's "Train your Mind, Change Your Brain" is another good one.
21. They are a spiritual door for demons in your life. Get rid of them and denounce them to Jesus through the pastor of a good bible believing, Jesus loving church. You could save yourself a lot of demonic control of you.
