Christians - spiritually injured?

Do you have something, anything, that limits your joy, or your willingness to fulfil God's calling? You've tried a few things, but it's still there? All four gospels speak of a woman who had an issue of blood 12yrs. "and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse. When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. . . and straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague." (Mark 5:25-29) The spiritual healing is there because (if we are born again) we are "in Christ", sons of God, "new creatures" (2 Cor. 5:17). Trouble is, we learn to live with a lesser vision of ourselves . . . until it troubles us so we can't live with it and claim to believe in Jesus . . . so we "press in", past all the excuses and fears that held us back until we are truly free and as we should be. Or do we? "Don't get bitter, get better" Our "overcoming" is to see this thing as God sees it, to see over it, to see beyond what we physically see and experience now, to be stronger than it, so that it no longer controls our thinking. Then we will automatically . . . "lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed." (Hebrews 12:12-13) Do you have a story to tell about this? yes, go jo jo shoe - blessing in disguise, if u have no money u don't worry about things u can't buy & havn't got.

  1. would you like a personal experience? if so, i have many.
  2. When I became born again at first, all hell broke loose in my life, even Christians were not so nice to me. But, Jesus was kind and gentle and way always by my side. satan wants us to get our eyes off of Jesus and on to one another and our faults. This way he can keep us sidetracked and not fulfilling our destiny here on earth. As long as we trust in Jesus and belong to Him, He can see us through anything. In Him we are a winner.
  3. I don't fulfill God's calling, Jesus did it for me
  4. I have moments that get me down, but when I do, the best thing I can do is put my focus on Jesus and humble myself before the Lord. When I do this it makes all the difference in the world. It gives me inner peace. It is sad that sometimes when I am stressed I forget to do this. Cast your anxiety on the Lord. He cares for you. edit Shortly after I became saved I lost $2,000,000 - uh yeah - around that time my marriage ended and I lost custody of my children in a nasty battle. Jesus - Jesus - Jesus - Jesus - Thank you Lord, you got me through...
