Bad story, but lovely name. It can be pronounced meh-DAY-uh, or meh-DEE-uh. The name actually means "ruling". Morgan, Morgaine, Morgana, Morgane - Morgan le Fay (which means Fairy from the Sea Circle), an Arthurian sorceress, and Arthur's half-sister. Personally, I quite like Morgana. Mor-GAHN-ah. Alcina - In Greek Mythology, she was a sorceress who ruled over a magical island. Italian poet Ludovico Ariosto used the name for a mistress of aluring enchantments in his poems. Pronounced al-SEE-nah. Circe - She was the sorceress who tempted Odysseus, and turned his men into swine. She changed them back to men again. She was said to be very beautiful. Pronounced SIR-see. Apparently, it means "hoop-around". Titania - She's the fairy queen in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Titania is also the largest moon of Uranus, and the eighth largest moon in the solar system. Can be pronounced tie-TAHN-ee-ah, or tit-AHN-yuh. Ceridwen - She was a female magician in Welsh Medieval Legend. It refers to her as possessing the cauldron of Poetic Inspirtation. Pronounced ke-RID-when. Taika - Finnish name that means "magic". I'm assuming it's pronounced TIE-kah, but I could be wrong. Lilura - Basque name that means "enchantment". I'd pronounce it lill-YUR-ah. Ileana - In Romanian folklore, Ileana is the original concept of feminine beauty, the most beautiful amongst the fairies: her eyes look like the sun, her body is like the sea and her garments are made of flowers. Merlin - The famous wizard from Arthurian legend. Thoth - The Egyptian God of magic. It sort of sounds like you have a lisp when you're saying it, though.
