what does the green man tarot card mean?

my girlfriend was messing around with a deck of tarot cards and wanted to know what the meaning of the green man card was, she said it seemed like a modern deck if that matters. the card looked like a mans face made out of leaves

1. Tarot card decks vary in art and style, so your description really doesn't give much of a clue. There is no card called "the Green Man" in the Major Arcana. Sorry.

3. it must be some other kind of oracle or divination deck...not tarot. it COULD be a tarot deck in a certain style but you would be able to find the actual name of the card, as "green man" is not a card in the tarot deck. does it have a number on it?

If it is a neo-Celtic set, then the Green Man could mean the rebirth of nature, spring, new ideas, or even partnerships, but it all depends on what is looks like and in what position it was. It does not sound good to say messing aorund, You play with the cards to get used to them and then you may be able to read them.
5. The Green Man appears in the Sacred Circle tarot and typically represents the beginning of the fool's journey, raw energy. She should have picked up the book that corresponds with the deck to help with the imagery.
6. It may have been the world...was there a person in a circle of leaves? Well in wicca, the green man represents the god.
